MAISM MCA students secured merit positions in RTU

Students of MCA Priya Vaishnav & Deepanshu Khandelwal (Batch 20132016) secured Positions in State level Merit in Rajasthan under Rajasthan Technical University Colleges. This a continuation of winning trend carried forward by Ms. Priya Vaishnav who secured 83.47% and Mr. Deepanshu Khandelwal who secured 83.57%. Students from MCA MAISM previous batches too created landmarks in academics in RTU.

Yearly Event Plantation and Blood Donation Camp Blood Donation camp is being organized by MAISM on occasion of birth anniversary of Chairperson Madam Bharti Parashar. This day is celebrated as a day for social and environmental services. Students and faculty members donate blood with high spirit.


Workshop on Android A two days’ workshop for the MCA students was organized for demonstrating hands on app development tools with practical examples. Students actively participated for enhancing their technical skills.


Seminar on Mission Digital India: Role of Youth Youth is the hope of tomorrow. Educational institute, MAISM takes the responsibility in shaping the techno-economic values and ethics among youth so that they become responsible citizens of the nation. With this spirit a seminar on digital India was organized in which eminent speakers Mr. Paresh Gupta (Meritorious qualified Chartered Accountant and an entrepreneur) and renowned technocrat Mr. Pawan Jha were invited as resource persons.


Sports Week Sports activities are important part of overall personality development of students. Also students with expertise in sports should be encouraged to develop their career in the field. With this aim, annual sports week is being organized in joint association with Maharishi Arvind University which includes cricket, kabaddi, table tennis, short put, badminton, carom, chess kho kho and long jump etc.

Basant UTSAV On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Basant UTSAV was organized in which students worshipped Maa Saraswati; the Goddess


of knowledge and wisdom. Pujya G.D. Das from Akshaypatra took a spiritual session on self-realization and importance of meditation for releasing chains of doubts from mind.

Republic Day Celebration Feelings of patriotism should fill the youth as they are the architects of tomorrow’s India. With this aim all national festivals are celebrated with high spirits in the MAISM. Flag hoisting in the front lawns was followed by cultural program.


Kite Flying Fest Kite flying on the occasion of Makar Sankranti is one of the awaited events. Also this day is celebrated as donation day. On this cultural occasion students are motivated to take part in social responsibility and collectively do SEVA through donations to needy people


Abhivyakti 2K17 Inter College Techno-Management fest Abhivyakti 2K17 was organized by MAISM to nurture diverse abilities and encourage multifaceted personalities. The two day fest consisted of various inter college competitions like dance, fashion show, code war, IT Quiz and many more thrilling events to bring out the latent talent in students.


Tour to historic places in Jaipur Tourism with fun is an integral activity of youth’s college life. Outdoor tourism help them to learn from environment with spirit of associations and togetherness away from family. In order to follow this, a tour was organized in which students-faculty visited various historical places in the City.

Industrial Visit


MCA Fresher’s Party In order to welcome fresher’s; an enchanting event named SRIJAN – a new beginning was organized by the senior batch. This was an event filled with talent music excitement and enthusiasm. Fresher’s party in any institution marks the commencement of a blissful college life with a popular cultural activities. It is a creative and one that brings students together and get to know and understand each other socially and scholarly. Selecting Mr. and Ms. Fresher’s is a fun entertaining and knowledgeable event. The theme usually changes every year however this year it was based on Prince and Princess which made the students dress up in beautiful attire.


Dandiya Night Dandiya is the traditional folk of Gujarat, India and culturally originated in Vrindavan by Bhagwan/Lord Krishna. It is performed in many states, during the festive season of Navratri. Dandiya Raas is performed in the honor of Goddess Durga. To keep this spiritual spirit among students; MAISM family organized a Dandiya Night.


Start Up Development Camp To encourage entrepreneurial skills among students a four days event on Startups was organized for MBA and MCA students in collaboration with Startup Oasis India Pvt. Limited. Startup Oasis India Pvt. Limited is an incubation center aimed at developing an ecosystem in Rajasthan to inspire and support students, aspiring entrepreneurs and startups to solve persistent real life problems through technology and innovations, develop breakthrough inventions and create world class enterprises. The students were motivated and guided by the experts to develop business plans. Culmination was an industry visit at Startup Oasis where students presented their startup ideas before domain experts and financers.


Gandhi Jayanti Celebration Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in the honor of the birth anniversary of the Father of the nation, our beloved Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi or Bapuji and our ex. Prime Minister Shri Lal Bhadur Shastri. Internationally this day is celebrated as Day of Non-Violence as Gandhi ji was the preacher of non-violence. In order to keep the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi's and Shri Lal bahadur Shastri’s messages/teachings alive a poster making, face painting, debate competition events were organized on October 1st to foster the principles of truth, justice, human rights and non-violence among students and faculty


members.

Jaipur Cycle Marathon Students of Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science and Management Participated in the Cycle Marathon organized by Nupur Sansthan for “Saving Environment, Health and Wealth� on world heart day.

IT Exhibition


Every year Institute organizes an IT Exhibition on Engineer’s Day (i.e. 15th September) which facilitates young scientists to showcase their IT based innovations. The objective of organizing this event is to bring out the innovation and creativity of the students and nurture their talents. Various software like “Search for Sure, Mobile Edu., Multimedia Games, Mobile Apps and virtual tour to the universe were showcased/ displayed and appreciated by visitors. Director Dr. Bharat Prashar appreciated the talents of students and motivated them for their scientific efforts. Most appreciated projects included search for sure the mobile app, online banking, and learning management system.

Teacher’s Day Celebration Since 1962, India has been celebrating Teacher's Day on 5th September. The day commemorates the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher, teacher, and ex. president of Indian Republic for his mind flex contribution to the field of education. Dr. Radhakrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". On this occasion, MAISM students organize various cultural programs and activities.

Orientation Programme (Batch 2016-19) Orientation of the new comers’ is an event organized at the beginning of the academic year. A variety of events are organized to orient and welcome fresher. It’s more than a series of seminars or workshops. It’s an intense, hands-on period where students get real career development advice from the experts in different domains.


Music Chopal An entertaining musical event was organized in association with Nupur Sansthan at the auditorium MAISM. NUPUR SANSTHAN is association of young people working together to tackle the varied problems faced by disabled community and also to enhance the opportunities available to empowering them to lead happy and productive lives, integrated into the mainstream of society. Music Chopal was a social initiative.


Training Program on Big data Analytics

Farewell Party (Batch 2013-16) A warm event to bid farewell to the passing batch of MCA 2013-2016 was organized by their juniors to thank them to be so helpful and wish them all the best for their future endeavors. The party was filled with mixed emotions with wet eyes and wide smiles.

Women’s Day Celebration March 8th, has been celebrated as International Women's Day. It’s an opportunity to remember and honor those women who make a difference in families, communities, and countries. They are entrepreneurs, farmers, educators, scientists, artists, soldiers, mothers, heads of state -- the list is endless. Without them, economies would collapse, political systems would deteriorate, and families and communities would fall apart.
