SYNCHRONY AUSTRALIA - MARCH 2017 NEWSLETTER I 3
sharing our fresh ideas, healthy vision and what we’re doing with you It’s hard to believe that since our last newsletter, we have mobilised a new site; re-secured one of our very important contracts; created delicious menus for our clients’ Christmas events; recruited some new key team members and started the year with a bang - new opportunities keep presenting and we’ve loads of themed events and food days! All in all, it has been a very happy start to 2017; a year where Synchrony Australia will evolve to a new level in service delivery, operating systems, communication and innovation. We couldn’t get there however without your loyalty and support. We continue to enjoy the support of many key partners and suppliers, many of whom started this journey with us some 2 ½ years ago. As we continue to expand to new horizons, we remain focused on recruiting and retaining the right talent. It is our people working closely alongside you in your places of work who represent the face of Synchrony. We are fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate team of committed hospitality professionals who strive to add value to our service delivery model every day. A lot of the content in this newsletter is from our teams on the ground. They just love capturing great ‘foodie’ moments! Particularly when they know that our clients’ employees have really enjoyed the food or event. We now have a very active social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram! We encourage all of our partners, and in turn your teams, to follow us and stay abreast of some of our thoughts. Throughout the year we hope to run some competitions to increase engagement and create some fun! ‘Lettuce all embrace the benefit of active social media!’ As always, thank you for your support ...

100% RETENTION Nearly three years old (32 months in), and we are delighted to confirm that we have a 100% retention rate with our client partners!
Firstly, we can assure you that our focus isn’t on growth for growth sake, or to secure as many new clients as possible.
But it’s not just our journey, it is our journey ‘#insyncwithyou.’
Our aspirations are modest and not at the cost of existing accounts or relationships.
Yes, there have been some challenges along the way, but through open channels of communication and a genuine commitment to work hand in glove with our clients, we continue to soar to new heights!
We thought we would share with you our strategy in seeking new business partners:
Some of our clients may be wondering ‘what’s next?’ for the future expansion of Synchrony Australia.
We do not seek to be the hospitality solution for everyone but rather where the client organisation is seeking to truly enhance the employee or service experience. We only seek to do business with companies who are like minded and share similar values, agility, passion, partnership and entrepreneurial spirit We are socially conscious and strongly support the foundations of education and awareness
Our offer is food and support services; food is predominantly the anchor. We actively seek to partner with clients who are ‘top companies to work for,’ ‘who are innovative,’ who are prepared to fund the food service offer to their employees as a significant value add or who value the integration of food with holistic wellbeing and learning and development outcomes. We are attracted to organisations that operate from the major capital cities in Australia as well as SE Asia; where the philosophy is to embed the Australian best in class hospitality approach, to SE Asia operations via an integrated operating model Our relationships are B2B – primarily with C-Suite clients. Our services are provided as B2C within our client partner office locations We would love to hear from our reading audience if you feel there are possible new clients out there who align with this strategy or would benefit by a relationship with us. After all, ‘nothing influences people more than a referral from a trusted friend or business partner.’ #letusknow! In the meantime, we have tagged 2017 as our ‘year of enhanced experience’ where our focus is firmly on driving best value and delivery to our existing client partners. So look out for new innovation, new systems and tools and improved visual marketing and merchandising we hope to inject in partnership with you!

PROVEN PERFORMANCE & RELATIONSHIP AT ATLASSIAN
RESTAURANT & CATERING ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
We first started providing hospitality services to the Atlassian kitchen pantries in the Sydney CBD just over 2 years ago.
Synchrony Australia is now a member of Restaurant & Catering Australia.
Back then, there were only 400 employees on site and a limited range menu. Today, there are over 1100 employees on site, 4 kitchens, 2 dining rooms and 7 pantries and a food and beverage range that caters to every taste and desire! We have worked collaboratively with Atlassian over this time to evolve the hospitality service to what it is today. Together, we have overcome challenges and have pushed the envelope to see what is possible.
Aside from the many benefits offered to members in the areas of workplace relations and policy advocacy, R&CA hosts an annual Awards for Excellence program.
This year, we will nominate one of our sites to enter the ‘Site / Industrial Caterer’ category in the bid to take out both the New South Wales and the National Award titles. Wish us luck!
Atlassian wanted to ensure that what we were offering was competitive in today’s corporate catering world. We were put through our paces against some of the biggest in the industry and are very fortunate to have come up trumps. We are absolutely thrilled that our partnership with Atlassian will continue in the near future and are already introducing new menus, new faces and heightened communications and reporting to make sure that Atlassian get the very best of what Synchrony has to offer.
