SYNCHRONY AUSTRALIA - OCTOBER 2016 NEWSLETTER | 4

sharing our fresh ideas, healthy vision and what we’re doing with you It has been nearly 3 months since our last newsletter; we have lots of exciting updates to share. New people have joined our ever growing family, we have started new services that integrate food and concierge, we been appointed for catering services at a new site with a terrific client, we have expanded our supply chain and we have been put to the test with some of our existing business which is always healthy to keep us on our toes. There is never a dull moment when working #insyncwithyou! We live in an ever changing world! We are fortunate to partner with some wonderful organisations where we are able to experience corporate and cultural change across a diverse landscape of industry, first hand. This is where we do our best work; in the middle of the change, between client and their employees with the common goal of ‘enhancing the experience.’ We have decided it is time to raise the bar in communicating with our many existing and potential partners – and this month, launch our new format newsletter. We hope you enjoy our feature articles and news from around the business. And this edition’s closing remarks come from Charles Dudley Warner, an American essayist and friend of Mark Twain. He writes “lettuce is like conversation; it must be fresh and crisp, so sparkling that you scarcely notice the bitter in it.” As always, thank you for your support…

Seasonal Eating

Why you should eat with the seasons?

Eating seasonally is not only a great way to save money on grocery bills, support the environment and local economy, it is also a great way to ensure your keep healthy. Seasonal produce also tastes better!

How to eat with the seasons.

Eating with the seasons is easy and you don’t need to be a farmer or health nut to know how to find the seasonal picks each month. To find the seasonal options, simply look for the cheaper or ‘on sale’ produce and check that it is ‘Grown in Australia’. Normally, imported produce costs more and has to travel over 12,000kms to reach your fork.
