Polish presidency in the Council of the European Union 01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamics, positive enery and solidarity are values that symbolizes logo. It describes Poland as modern and young country, initiating positive changes in Europe. The author of this logo is Jerzy Janiszewski - a designer of a famous logo of "Solidarno ", which has become a historic symbol of polish way towards freedom and democratic changes in this part of the world.

Cuisine PL Polish Presidency is a great opportunity to promote Polish Cuisine. One of the most appreciated master chef Adam Chrzastowski supervises the menu with Polish dishes on the basis on domestic products which will be served during the summits in Poland and Brussels. Foreign delegations and journalists, visiting Poland during its Presidency, will receive recipes for Polish dishes which are arranged in a modern way by 16 chefs, including 3 foreigners working in best Polish restaurants. The basis of every recipe is product associated with Polish Cuisine (e.g. herring, cucumber, grits, poppy, venison). Every single recipe contains comprehensible description of dish, including cultural context. Modern illustrations make the publication attractive.
