1. Introduction The National University of Singapore (NUS) Public Relations Unit (PRU) is currently organizing an event named NUSSU Bash 2013, which we believe will be extremely beneficial in terms of providing an avenue for your company to reach out to the undergraduate population. NUSSU Bash 2013 aims to enhance the brand prestige of your products and services amongst the future working professionals through various advertising avenues. We would like to sincerely invite your company to join NUSSU Bash 2013 as a sponsorship partner. We believe with the potential outreach of this event, as well as the flexible and effective publicity avenues that we plan to employ, the advertising needs of your company will be met. 2. Event Details Date: 26 January 2013 Time: 7.30pm till 10.30pm (tentative) Expected Participants: 1000 Venue: Zouk (Tentative) NUSSU Bash is an annual large-scale pageant event that brings together students from all faculties in NUS for a night of fun-filled partying as well as to witness the crowning of the King and Queen of NUS. The brand name of NUSSU Bash is practically undeniable. Any mention of pageant events in NUS and NUSSU Bash is most definitely the first name that comes to mind for most students. As such, the undergraduate crowd is extremely overwhelming, with students from not only NUS, but also the other tertiary institutions. Last year’s  NUSSU  Bash  was  held  at  St  James  Power  House  and  drew  a  crowd  of   800 ticket-paying audiences. Hosted by renowned DJ Jean Danker, the event was also very well-received by the attendees and the success of it has encouraged us to propel it to an even larger scale. This year, we will tentatively be holding it at Zouk and we strongly believe the global brand name of Zouk, coupled with the support of our large undergraduate population, will produce a huge turnout. Furthermore, the floor plan of Zouk   will  enable  to  put   up   the  sponsors’  logos  for  an  increased  degree   of  publicity  for   your company. During the event itself, there will be a pageant contest with ample opportunities for us to integrate the publicity efforts of your company. Pageant segments like catwalks, games, promotional activities for your company, lucky draws and prize presentations are   all   available   for   us   to   tweak   and   incorporate   your   company’s

products and services. We believe this will greatly enhance the visibility of your company to the undergraduate population. In addition to the above, there will also be performances by live bands as well as dance groups to keep the audience entertained. Interactive games will be played to keep them engaged as well. Lastly, the event will come to an end with prominent DJs spinning their music while the contestants and audience dance the night away. Do note that NUSSU Bash is also an open-door event, meaning members of the public are also allowed in. This will undoubtedly provide even greater advertising opportunities for your companies. 3. Publicity Avenues Brand awareness – With a 1.5 month long period of intensive publicity, as well as the event day itself, we believe the constant exposure to your company’s   brand   will   definitely bring about greater awareness of your products and services amongst our undergraduates. Customization – The publicity schemes are flexible and negotiable. We can definitely design and customize it to best suit your needs.
