Included in all of our packages where the planner is present on the day of your wedding. Prepare your Wedding Day Timeline, which begins approximately 30 (thirty) days prior to your wedding day. Upon your approval and prior to distribution, all vendors will be contacted to confirm that all details pertaining to your contracted services are accurate. Please note that most vendors release pertinant information regarding scheduling and details approximately one to two weeks prior to the date of an event. Arrive with an essential Wedding Day Emergency Kit. Includes a wide variety of essentials you may need. Make certain that the bride, groom, parents and bridal attendants are comfortable and receive all the proper attention and services required to ensure a stress-free, memorable day. Make certain guests with special needs of any kind receive care and assistance necessary to help them feel as comfortable as possible. Oversee proper set-up of wedding ceremony, including proper placement of unity candles, ceremony programs, alter and pew floral arrangements. Confirm that all ceremony musicians have the correct musical selections to play as guests arrive, family members are seated and as the processional and recessional walks take place. Accept all personals delivered from your florist. Distribute and pin all corsages and boutonnieres; distribute flower-girl and ring bearer items. Gather and direct your wedding party when it is time to walk down the aisle, as agreed upon during rehearsal. Assist your maid-of-honor in the bustling of your wedding dress prior to your grand entrance. Advise when it is time for you and your escort to walk down the aisle. Make certain that all décor items from your ceremony are properly placed in your reception according to your specifications. Greet, supervise and receive all deliveries from vendors as they arrive, deliver, or set-up for your cocktail and reception. Make certain that all finishing touches are complete and exactly as you wished before allowing guests to enter the reception area. Ensure proper placement of the escort and place cards, guest book, photographs, wedding favors, menu cards, and any other specialty items as per your instruction. Make certain that each table is set to accommodate the correct number of guests assigned to that table. Number of place settings should coincide with your final guest list. Confirm that all guest’s escort cards have the correct table number/name printed on them. Work closely with your maitre’d and bridal attendant to ensure the evening flows according to your wedding timeline. Communicate with banquet captain and catering staff to ensure all meals are served at their scheduled times. Greet your guests and kindly direct them to the ceremony and reception areas at the appropriate times. Prepare bride and groom for all events prior to their scheduled times (introductions, parent dances, cake cutting, ceremony, etc). Make certain that everyone is lined-up properly for introductions, in the order that they will be announced. Make certain that those who are scheduled to give toasts or blessing during the day are cued and prepared. Answer all guest’s questions and concerns graciously throughout the day. Distribute vendor gratuities and/or payments on your behalf.

Inspiration Board Services A crucial element to determining your desired Wedding or Event Theme, Color Scheme or Overall Tone... This service is a great option for the client who wants a little extra help with the "details", or simply needs a little guidance in the right direction. Your SYE Professional Designer can help you not only enhance your vision, but create one if need be. One-of-a-kind custom boards will include personalized inspiration photos categorized by Ceremony, Cocktail and Reception gathered from a combination of our Company's Classified Inspiration Photos and your "Wedding or Event Wish List". This service is a lengthy process, yet an essential one for the discerning bride looking to bring her vision to life or the event host looking to "wow" their guests! Initial office consultation (60 Minutes) where we will discuss your overall vision, including theme, color scheme and tone. Client is asked to bring inspirational photos to this meeting. Create custom preliminary inspiration boards for your review. These will include all your final requests discussed during your initial meeting with your SYE designer. Two (2) complete revisions included: Make corrections and updates to your preliminary inspiration boards, as per your request. Make updates to your inspiration boards following vendor meeting to include changes made during appointment. One (1) on-site appointment with vendor of your choice to discuss your vision and designer's suggestions. SYE Designer will bring a hard copy of your approved and final inspiration boards for clients, as well as vendor. This will become an essential "Decor" tool used to create your final tablescape and overall wedding scheme. We start working with you approximately three (3) months prior to your wedding day. Let me, a professional, assist you in “tying-up” all those loose ends and provide you with all the right tools to ensure a flawless day. Unlimited telephone and email consultations. Discuss and outline any of your issues or concerns during our initial two (2) hour office consultation. We will use this meeting as a guide, helping us to create a detailed checklist creation of outstanding projects. Re-evaluate your ongoing budget strategy. Advise the proper etiquette of your processional and recessional formats. Schedule an additional office consultation, which can be used to make final budget adjustments, discuss outstanding projects issues or address any other wedding-related concerns. Couples select their wedding sites based on a variety of factors, and the venue that best fits their needs may not necessarily reflect their wedding style. A kosher kitchen, an unusually large capacity, or even the sentimental value of a particular locale may make it a must-have, regardless of its design or decor conflicts. Fortunately, there are a host of options available for temporarily, but completely, transforming a wedding site; and with the proper team backing your dream, the sky, is quite literally, the limit. GETTING STARTED Assuming you have the freedom to temporarily redesign a chosen space to your liking (restrictions should be inquired about in advance), you can begin working with your consultant to create your vision. Successfully communicating any ideas you’ve already formed about the desired style or theme for the event is extremely important, as is understanding the ideas put forth by your consultant. In fact, once I’m familiar with the tastes and personalities of a client, I’ll begin sketching the décor concepts so the couple can clearly envision my ideas. Once the foundation had been laid, a team of professionals that are a match for your tastes and personalities, as well as capable of creating your unique vision, can be assembled. DESIGN TEAM Although a consultant will visualize and invest the design aspects of a transformation, it takes a range of professionals to implement the physical aspects of the project. The following specialists are those that compose the core of a design team: Floral Designer - A gifted florist who can appreciate - as well as execute - the concepts within your desired design, is a vital member of the team. They are responsible not only for supplying, delivering, and arranging all of the floral elements of a wedding, but also the ceremony structure, be it a chuppah, arch, or stage. Vessels that showcase flowers can run the gamut from chandeliers to banisters, and floral arrangements can range from tables paved in blossoms to towering sculptures of blooms. You can request that a designer use various colors to highlight a custom-made water wall (made by a design firm) to employ as a backdrop to the stage at a reception. Other creative options include gobo lighting on the dance floor or even along the walls of the space to create a temporary decorative pattern or border. These types of experts aren’t merely vendors, but artists, and their services are key to completing a full transformation. From commissioning a bar carved entirely of ice to designing custom light fixtures to be used for the day, your consultant may be brimming with creative ideas. Being aware of your design options, and the businesses and artists available to implement them, can help turn the space you selected into the realm of your dreams. As your Decor & Design Consultant, SYE will... Meet with you to discuss your overall vision and create a preliminary design and decor plan. Accompany you on one (1) venue site tour to effectively evaluate your overall décor direction. Design up to three (3) inspiration boards reflective of your color-scheme, theme and overall wedding style. Assist with the rental of custom linens, chair covers, table settings, fabric draping, and all other décor props. Work in conjunction with your floral designer to ensure that your centerpieces are created according to your vision. We will request a floral centerpiece prior to approving for production. Assist the lighting technician to create your final reception light-o-gram in order to acquire the proper appearance and flow of the room.
Oversee the layout design of “details”, including menu and escort or place cards, signage, custom aisle runner designs, and any other personalized items to enhance and coordinate with your overall theme or color scheme. Will offer guidance with invitation, escort card and menu design, and any other printed stationary to ensure they directly reflect the overall tone and theme of the wedding. Orchestrate and coordinate decor-related vendors to ensure that all creative elements have a cohesive design. Aside from assisting in the planning of your Wedding Day, SYE can also help you plan those other “Special Events”. The below listed services can be specifically tailored to meet the needs of each client; and will be priced according to the level of services required. A quote following your one (1) hour complimentary consultation will be provided prior to any formal commitment made by either party. Off-Site accompaniments will be billed at a special rate of $125 per hour, including travel time and other expenses (tolls, parking, etc.) SYE offers too many services to list individually, but welcome you to inquire further if a specific service you need is not detailed above. Additional assistant Day-of Wedding Coordinators are required for select venues, larger weddings and multiple location weddings, and will be billed at a special rate of $500 for each assistant needed. Additional expenses may apply for selected venues out of Nassau and Suffolk County. These may include accommodation expenses, Travel and Toll expenses or a combination of all. These charges will be discussed and applied accordingly. Wedding Day Timelines – included are two (2) revisions prior to final approval. Additional revisions will be priced at a special rate of $125/hr. Additional Venue or Vendor Site Visits - See above for additional travel fees and expenses. Phone consultations to discuss event related details are available weekdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Scheduled telephone consultations can be pre-arranged according to your needs. Please note that limitations are not implemented in times of emergencies. Client will have access to their contracted planner's mobile number only to be used to discuss a wedding-related emergency or issue that cannot wait until office hours. Emails will be returned approximately 24 - 48 hours of receiving. If we are researching specific answers to your questions, we will respond as soon as we've obtained this information. If your event falls on a national holiday, or if any of your requests require “rush” services, additional charges will apply. They will be discussed prior to contract signing. All packages where “number of hours” are noted, include hours on-site the day of your wedding or event. All custom packages must exceed ten (10) hours or service.
