Arrive early for the concert and you will have time to explore Parramatta City Council’s 27th Australia Day celebrations. Watch the skies fill with hot air balloons as Aerial Carnivale takes flight from 6am. Bring the whole family along to the Big Backyard, with amusement rides, animal encounters and eco experiences in Parramatta Park from noon. Fireworks will explode in the skies above the stage following the concert.

INTO THe BLOOdSTreaM Archie roach is celebrated as one of Australia’s most gifted artists. Since his 1990 debut Charcoal Lane, he has released a stream of remarkable albums, receiving praise from and touring with Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg, Patti Smith and more.
A born-storyteller, Archie plays songs from his new album Into the Bloodstream. He’s joined by a 13-piece music ensemble and a 10-voice gospel choir to create an uplifting and soulful performance, headlining a fantastic night of free family entertainment to close this year’s Festival in Parramatta.
