In a dry, barren landscape, a herd of cattle grazes, accompanied by dogs, tended to by cowboys. Step by step the seemingly peaceful place starts to prove deceptive to the viewer – while the cows end their day as it began. Filmed in the Golan Heights, on the border of Israel and Syria.

Lisa, an authoritarian owner of a luxurious brothel, has only one friend: Lena, an art‑ less prostitute as unpredictable as lazy and her longest employee. The two women are filmed in the intimacy of the smoking room where their relationship will mix tenderness and cruelty.

A field study in seven parts about the feeling of growing up: The sense and nonsense of idleness and stagnation are packed into whimsical images and suddenly you are floa­ting in this vacuum.
