In the summer of 2013, an over 2 500-year-old statue of Apollo is found in the nets of a fisherman in Gaza. The statue vanishes, leaving plenty of room for speculation: hidden in a tunnel, held hostage by armed groups, destroyed by fundamentalists, or sold to international traffickers of art. Proven or imagined, the most absurd hypotheses circulate on the subject.
