While the victims try to master their difficult daily lives with confidence – and while the legal prosecution of war crimes committed is still in progress – the next war breaks out.

Ever since then, Joke has been trying to find a way of dealing with it. And also with his own role as a father, which has been affected, too.

A contemporary tale of twisted love, revenge and the redemptive power of a song, which unfurls like a folktale. Nooran is a singer, a scorpion healer, a mid-wife and a medicine woman for the Sindhi community of Rajasthan. When Aadam, a camel trader in the desert community, realizes that Nooran, the woman he passionately loves, does not care about him, he seeks redress by paying a young thug to sexually attack her. Feeling herself poisoned by the brutal violation, Nooran sets off on a mystical journey to seek and avenge herself on her unknown attacker through the power of her song.

Oskar, a 17-year-old orphan, lives with the Egger family in a perfectly arranged villa. However, he has only one dream: to get away from this golden cage in order to flee to Zimbabwe. While he strives to gather enough money to realise his escape plan, his guardian Elvis does everything in his power to put him back on the right track, even if that means going against the law, logic or ethics. Their relationship progressively turns into an implacable duel, which will lead Oskar to abandon his childhood for good and Elvis to fall into a whirlpool of madness and destruction
