HOTEL JUGOSLAVIJA

FEAT ST

by Nicolas Wagnières 4

Yugoslavia no longer exists, but Hotel Jugoslavija is still haunting the Belgrade scenery, like a mirror held out to a Serbia in search of new landmarks. Nicolas Wagnières explored the building at different eras and questioned its former residents. The result is a singular space-time continuum projecting a form of collective unconscious and a share of the director’s identity.
