very year hundreds of men and women are released from local prisons and returned to the community.

When prisoners are released, they face a daunting challenge and they are actively preventing themselves from becoming productive members of society. Within three years of the release, 67.8 percent of all recruits were re-arrested, and within five years, 76.6 percent were re-arrested.
