How Sweet It Is – The CalorMatic® Heat Processor The CalorMatic® Multi-Purpose Heat Processor utilizes a fluidized air bed to dry, roast, toast, bake or sterilize a variety of free-flowing materials, eliminating any direct contact with the flame to avoid scorching. The CalorMatic® can process materials such as soybeans, corn, peanuts, wood pellets, waste materials, eggshells, birdseed and many other items (agricultural crops, other grains, etc.). Sweet also offers on-site testing of potential products available for our customers. The CalorMatic® provides a variable control of operating temperatures, product depth and retention time and airflow, giving the operator flexibility to achieve consistency and the highest quality product possible. The CalorMatic® comes in 8 different models and is made of durable galvanized or stainless steel. It can process up to 18 tons per hour depending on the specifications of the product. There have been multiple product enhancements over the last few years, including an updated control panel, enhanced safety features, and new access and inspection points, to name a few. Sweets has experienced increased quote and order activity for the CalorMatic® over the last 12 months. A CalorMatic® was recently sold to process soybeans in Wisconsin. This is the fifth unit that the same customer has purchased from us. Soybean processing is a popular use of the CalorMatic®. The bean is roasted and utilized as a proven and enhanced protein substitute for cattle. Another CalorMatic® was installed in New York for a paper processing facility. This was the largest unit we have produced to date. Lastly, we are currently producing a second CalorMatic® unit which will be used in California for a rice processing operation. Please contact our CalorMatic® Sales Associate, Brandon Fultz, at email@example.com to learn more about how you can make use of the CalorMatic® Multi-Purpose Heat Processor in your operation or with your customers!
