Welcome to Sweet

Our Mission: To provide innovative quality solutions that create an extraordinary customer experience.

A commercial grain operation in eastern Argentina has just been “Sweet-ened.” Sweet recently partnered with its longtime Argentinian dealer, Suc. de Héctor M. Díaz, on the many phases of creating this facitlity. The operation processes a variety of grains up to 240 MTPH (12,000 BPH). Its most recent expansion project included a Silver-Sweet® model Queen 115-foot bucket elevator and three horizontal Filte-Veyor® models 1017 and 1417 drag conveyors, totaling a combined 294 feet. The conveyors are supported by Silver Span® catwalk. This expansion is just one of the many on which Sweet has partnered with Hollender since 2011. Within the last few years, Diego Hollender has also added three Silver-Sweet® bucket elevators and more than 925 combined feet of Flite-Veyor® 17 series horizontal and 12 inch round bottom drag conveyors at his company’s seed conditioning facility. As you can tell, this long-standing and loyal partnership between Sweet, Suc. de Héctor M. Díaz, and Diego Hollender has proven beneficial for all companies, and we are excited to see what the future holds!

Lip vs. CinchSeal® Options We are often asked about the different options of seals we use on our drag conveyors and bucket elevators. Here are just two options we offer, lip and CinchSeals®. A lip seal is created from two different moving parts. One is the actual ring that creates the seal, and the other is the plastic housing. The seal sits on the shaft and is protected by the plastic housing as it moves. CinchSeals® have a larger surface for the shaft and seal interface, reducing the chance of leakage, they are also air purged which adds another layer of protection. Finally, CinchSeals® utilize an elastomer that spins with the shaft, reducing the shaft wear.

New Marketing Digital Ads The Sweet marketing department has created new digital display ads for our customers. Here are just a few for the agricultural and industrial sectors.
