TE C LI M A IT BENEF
Tetra Pak produces plant-based beverage containers made entirely of renewable packaging materials. The Tetra Rex carton, developed by Tetra Pak in partnership with biopolymer producer Braskem, uses innovative bio-based plastics technology to create its eco-friendly container. The carton itself is produced using low-density polyethylene; the caps are made from bio-based high-density polyethylene. This combination of plastics is derived from Brazilian sugar cane and Forest Stewardship Council-certified paperboard.
