COWFOLD VILLAGE HALL COWFOLD VILLAGE HALL Cowfold Village Hall has been the centre for village life in Cowfold since it was first opened to celebrate Queen Victoria’s jubilee in 1896. The Hall was donated to the village by Frederick Du Cane Godman having been built on the site of an old saw pit owned by Fowlers, the local builders, in the centre of the village. A deal was struck between Fowlers and Godman where land changed hands and Fowlers now reside on land originally owned by Godman, near the Hare & Hounds. Part of the deal was that Fowlers were contracted to build the hall. The hall continues to be the venue for weddings, parties, dances, meetings and local clubs. If you have any enquiries about bookings for your special event or any other queries please give the Caretaker a call and he will be pleased to help with the arrangements. BOOKINGS: TELEPHONE:

What is Canine Osteopathy? Canine osteopathy works with the same principles as human osteopathy, and is a system of medicine that uses physical techniques to treat the dog as a whole, rather than focusing on a single area. This is to promote healthy functioning, by correcting mechanical imbalances within and between the structures (muscles, bones, ligaments organs and fascia) of the body. It can help animals of any age from puppy to elderly, cope with many problems and conditions affecting the musculo-skeletal system; such as muscle stiffness, spasm, tendonitis or ligament sprains; including minor orthopaedic problems. If you are unsure as to the suitability of Osteopathy for your dog, please feel free to ask any questions via email or phone. Nicky works in the vicinity of Hurstpierpoint, Partridge Green or Henfield, but can travel further if needed. Consultations are done on a home visit basis. Osteopaths always work in conjunction with the dog’s veterinary surgeon, and must by law, obtain consent from the Vet for treatment of your dog.
