Have you ever just relaxed, laid back and floated in the water? Isn’t it amazing that when you finally lift your head and look around you find that the water has taken you to new places? You didn’t concern yourself with the pace of the current, you simply enjoyed the ride! Lately God’s river has been carrying us through a wonderfully busy season. And we’re really enjoying the ride! Today we’re able to look around and reflect on where the Lord has carried us and what His mighty river has done. Having returned from a speaking engagement with Pastors Alex and Jenny Alverez at Victory Chapel in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, we didn’t have much time before packing our
bags to head to Kinston, North Carolina to meet with Pastors Chris and Melinda Turner at New Vision Outreach. Reports from both of these events are flowing in. We wanted to share with you the mighty works of God and the way His Spirit moved and manifested in these meetings.
In Hamburg, Pennsylvania, it was a tremendous blessing to watch the Holy Spirit move in encouraging ways in the youth. Through a powerful time of
FAMILY, FREEDOM, FAITH This month we had a wonderful opportunity to visit with some family members we haven’t seen in many years. My cousin from Arkansas stopped to visit with us while traveling through Ohio. They were on their way home from visiting his wife’s family in

immediate family members came, and like most of you, we (overly) enjoyed lots of good food, the bright, sunny day, and a celebration of freedom. What a joy to grasp the concept that because of our faith in Christ, we are truly, completely, and unquestionably FREE!
GOD’S RIVER IS FLOWING! (CONT’D) wave of God as His love washed over us all in tangible ways. But that’s what His river does! For those who are eager enough to jump in and relax in His embrace and be carried by His waves of love, God does miraculous things! Here are a few of the testimonies of what God did during our visits with the precious people of Victory Chapel and New Vision Outreach.
FROM NEW VISION OUTREACH: Lisa Corey Best writes: “Thank you for your awesome and informational message tonight!! I had never heard of generational curses or "games" you play as a child being an open door to letting demonic things into your life!! Thank you so much for the prayer!” FROM the NEW VISION Meeting Valerie Patrick says: “Thank u 4 inviting us 2 share in the awesome move of God! Amen”
EXPRESSING THE LOVE!
FROM VICTORY CHAPEL: Debbie Rabenold reports: “I gave a testimonial today at church and I want to tell you too. I was at the Doctor last week. They tell me that I have arthritis in my tailbone and spine and I get migraines. But the good news is I went to my Neuro. Thursday after work and he told me and my husband that I had no signs of MS at all. God healed me of my M.S. and I know He will heal me of the others. So I’m asking for prayer for them. God is awesome!! God bless you!”
“We were so blessed to be there. We won't ever forget those beautiful services. Love you all.” “Love you all! Thanking God for your love and acceptance and embracing us. We needed you guys in our lives.”
FROM NEW VISION OUTREACH: Pastor Chris Turner shares: “WHEW!!!...just sitting here and reflecting on the awesome move of God this weekend!!!.... If you couldn't make it was just amazing!...special thanks again to Mark Knauff and Susan Knauff for coming and being so obedient to what God wanted to do!!!...”
FAITHFULLY STEWARDING WHAT GOD’S GIVEN I’m sure all of you couponclippers will enjoy this one! In this economy, all of us strive to be good stewards of all that God provides. And most of us try to squeeze each miniscule ounce of copper out of every penny. But did you know that out of our family car (a ten year old Saturn), we’ve been able to squeeze well over
200,000 miles? Mark is a great mechanic, but let’s face it, it’s only been by God’s grace that we’ve kept that car going for as long as it has been. We were so pleased to be able to drive it long after many other vehicles quit. But what a blessing it is to share that we were finally able to purchase a brand new 2011 Kia Sorento!
Those of you who know us understand that we don’t make purchases flippantly. So you realize what a huge investment and financial responsibility this new car is to us. But it was finally time and now our entire family, along with Mark’s drums, can fit into one safe vehicle as we travel to and from ministry meetings.
Of course you’ll still catch us clipping those coupons and looking for great bargains, but that’s all part of faithfully stewarding what God’s entrusted into our care!
ANNIVERSARY VACATION Nineteen years ago we stood together in the wet grass of a local park and entered into holy matrimony. To celebrate our anniversary, we decided to spend some time traveling and seeing the sites of North and South Carolina. Little did we know that our Anniversary Vacation would be the opportunity God used to speak both to us, and through us concerning the historical places we visited.
Our country definitely carries the old scars of slavery, but we realized just how enslaved people still are today. They’re enslaved by addictions, by generational curses, by bitter roots of expectations, and by the doors they willingly choose to open and invite in the enemy who wants to keep them in a position of bondage.
Aren’t you glad Jesus died and rose again to set the captives free? Aren’t you blessed that none of us have to be burdened by bondages ever again?
But I assure you that you’ll be hearing more about this topic as soon as God finishes putting it all together for us.
As we walked and prayed through the beautiful historical sites of the South, God spoke volumes to us on the topic of bondages and setting the captives free. We’re still processing much of what the Holy Spirit revealed.
THINGS TO COME We’d really enjoy the opportunity to fellowship with you!! Please come on out and visit us at one of the places we’ll be ministering.

2 Peter 3: 2– 9 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
This Scripture has been coming to me repeatedly for several months now. We all have witnessed it what is being discussed in vs. 3, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?” We can also say that we have heard the secular media try to rationalize and give their own theologies as they declare “for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning.” I have heard the debates and the mindsets. Yet Scripture keeps those of us who know Him, firmly grounded. As it says in vs. 9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness” we can rest assured knowing that His promise is and remains true. In the times that we are living in today, it is easy to look around and see the evidence of the false prophets and those who are deceived themselves leading many astray. Many are listening to and giving their financial resources away to those who are proclaiming Jesus is returning on a certain date. Still others following “Mystic Conferences” for some kind of guarantee that they will operate in miracles, signs and wonders. Others attending spiritual classes where groups of people try to communicate with Enoch and the list goes on and on and on. We have witnessed the transition and judgment that has fallen on many of the churches and have watched God dismantle piece by piece the very thing that has been controlled by man and not Himself and the thing that has wounded and judged so many without Himself as the head. We have also witnessed the humble, the meek and the servants of God remain steadfast become disheartened as they are watching their church doors revolve as people come and go. We see the needs of the people as they need healing and deliverance and hope and yet are not finding it in the crumbling religion that they see around them, nor in the medical system that is so failing them today.
So what are we, that are praying for a true move of God that transforms lives, to do? What is this season that we are all in? In our minds we think God is tarrying. We question and we wonder, ‘When and how and how soon and in what way and in what manner will You move next Oh God and why are You being silent?’ It is this that my heart seeks so strongly to address. Vs. 8 - “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” He has not forgotten you. You who are waiting for a divine touch. You who are praying for the soul of a loved one. You who have been wounded by wolves in sheep’s clothing. You who have been given a vision and are standing to see that vision fulfilled. You who are pastoring and seeing the flock dwindle. You who are desiring more than ever to be used of the Lord. You who are praying for a healing or the health of a loved one. He has not forgotten you and He is moving on your behalf. In the eyes of God it is still the same day. His vastness and His greatness we will never fully comprehend, yet our time is not His time and His time is not our own. What we are witnessing today had to happen. It is Scriptural and though it grieves us all to see the state of things and what we are living in, it points back to Himself and the truth of the Bible and these the days that we are living in. The church had to be dismantled for it was never meant to be man’s vision but God’s. Jesus Himself was angry at the Pharisees and Sadducees and their lack of an ability to see Him for Who He was. Many who say that they serve Him have forgotten Him. It became man’s agenda’s, man’s self-promotion, man’s salesmanship, man’s headship and it had to be addressed. What stood for the wrong reasons, had to be taken down and what is remaining is leaders who are meek and humble and who cry “Not I but You Oh God!” We (the church), will become a light in a dark world and therefore the church is not dead! The darkness has engulfed our land and yet we who remain “In Him” are those who can present truth to those will most surely be searching in the days ahead.
A TIMELY WORD
There has been a blindedness on the people and before God can begin drawing the hearts of man, the church has to be ready to receive them. We are all in a holding pattern waiting for the next direction from God and I say to you, “He tarry’s not!” Habbakuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Wait for it! Wait for it! We don’t need a date or timeline designed by a misguided man to tell us of His returning. Scripture clearly states that no man knows not even the Son knows. We don’t need to tap into Enoch or any other for that matter, for the Bible strictly forbids us doing so. I don’t need to enter a third heaven to walk with Enoch. (For this is just an example of what I have heard preached in the past year.) I need only to meditate on the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will say to me all that I need to hear. I don’t need to attend a Mystic Conference to see God’s amazing miracles, signs and wonders for by the Holy Spirit visiting me I have witnessed them already and not by any man but by He Who reveals them to me at His will and for His Glory! I can not present a conference to you for you to attend where these things are promised for I am not the author of them nor the presenter of them. What I can tell you is that Jesus Christ is real and alive and ever more and hang on to what vision God has given you for it will not tarry. The move that is coming is one of great power and one of great Salvation that draws the hearts of man and one of great healing and deliverance and miracles, signs and wonders will be following us all who believe. These last few meetings that we have ministered, we have witnessed and had some amazing testimonies return to us in how very much God is doing for those who are seeking Him today. Healings and deliverance are occurring now very quickly and to astonishment of the doctors and it is this that we remain steadfast for. This the season that we are in, is just that, but a season. His perfect plan will be done and we will see the church rise again. It will be the meek and the humble and the true shepherds and not only them but the five-fold ministry working effectively together and being accountable one to another. I speak hope to you today and the promises of His Word and remind you today to “Keep waiting for it!” God will bless you even more so in the end. Until then, Keep the Light on!
