CAPTAIN'S CORNER Hi Golfers, A very dry and windy month has come and gone. Still no sign of any signiďŹ cant rain, but the water reserves are holding up nicely. The fairways are still very good and the greens continuing to improve. The mens ďŹ elds are getting good numbers again, which is good for the club. With good sized ďŹ elds comes lots of pitch marks on the greens. Don't forget to repair your pitch mark and do a couple more while you are waiting to putt. A few members have mentioned to me over the last month or two about their balls being taken when playing. I'm sure that nobody takes someone else's golf ball whilst in competition on purpose, but I keep hearing this over and over.
