Whatmadeyouwanttostartyourline?
I had been working as an illustrator, mostly creating realistic portraits for editorial publications Along the way, I received a few briefs where I was to create a series of patterns I loved the process of first creating the elements and then the challenge of making them work as seamless repeat, yet with a handartworked and organic feel. Once I had a taste of this type of creating,itwasonlyamatteroftimewhereIthoughtitwouldbe funtocreatealineofmyown!

What'syourfavoritethingaboutyourprocess?
I think my favourite is also the most challenging! Creating completelydifferentdesigns,butalsopullingthemtogetheras cohesive story for a collection takes some work, but once I solve the puzzle, it is hugely satisfying. And art working of course - getting the paints out with tunes playing, keeps my creativecupfull
