A Letter from the Editor

February 2021

Ed’s Letter O

Anthony Kilner

An Elemental Life

ur theme for the February issue is Spirit and Elementals. I have been aware of these beings around me since early childhood although, for much of my life I have failed to notice how much they were helping my life and therefore understand their place in the scheme of things.

By trusting these messages, I can only imagine what sort of trouble I have avoided. On the flip side of that, I have often asked Spirit for directions and when it felt right to turn, I did so, always arriving safely.

I can remember numerous occasions when I have received a message from Spirit to avoid driving down a road or track for whatever reason and to choose an alternative route.

My Spirit team have always been on hand and I know they love the interaction as much I do. For example, I’ve often jumped on my motorbike and asked my Protection Guide to keep me safe and he has always done so. The funny part is that when I ask, I end up with several Spirit People on the bike with me: I can feel their energy sitting behind me in the pillion seat. The first time it happened, I swear the bike’s back end went down then up again!

“…I spotted an Elf, riding the frond like a horse, waving his hat and laughing.”

The Spirit World, the Elemental World, has continued to fascinate me. As a kid, I watched animal documentaries and imagined a world where we could all communicate together and live in peace – a pipe dream maybe? I know, yet I wanted to be a part of this Photo Credit: Anthony Kilner, Pixabay

remarkable space. It wasn’t until years later that I discovered the elementals bridge the gap between the Spirit World and our Physical World. Once I discovered this, it opened up a whole new world to explore and understand. One of the best experiences I have had with an Elemental Being - and I have had bucket loads - was at a friend’s place enjoying a Reflexology session. I was in a super relaxed state when I noticed that just one frond on a large fern outside the treatment room was waving – waving at me! It took a moment for my senses to come to terms with that and when I allowed myself to drift a little deeper into my relax mode, I spotted an Elf, riding the frond like a horse, waving his hat and laughing. It was a special moment in my life and just one of many I could rattle on about.

Welcome aboard Charles! Some exciting news is we have a new columnist coming to Supernal. Charles Snelleksz-Mathelot, co-Founder Gaian Heart Wisdom, has lived an extraordinary life and we are over the moon to have him on the team. He writes about Living in the Gaian Mind and his first column, Gaia Consciousness – The Divine Web of Life explains how this plays a pivotal role in our lives on this planet. Read a little about Charles in his bio on Page 52. Charles is also writing a second column to be published in our next issue on Gardening by the Seasons. Charles and his wife Christel, run a business where they work from the six seasons based upon wisdom from indigenous culture understanding the birds, animals and Earth consciousness to grow healthy foods and plants.

This will run bi-monthly. There’s a lot more in this issue to educate and tickle the brain cells into thinking differently – enjoy!

Donations Supernal has managed to survive through COVID affected 2020 and we are approaching our second birthday. Now that things are slowly getting better, we’ve realised that the cost of running the magazine has gone up. We are currently looking at other ways to support the magazine, moving into the future. Three different people advised me to set up a Go Fund Me page or similar and at first I wasn’t keen on the idea. Now though, as we move into 2021, I realise it is necessary to ask for some support to keep going. We’ve also created a specific PayPal account with a donation button available. If you as a reader would like to help support Supernal, this is a great way to start. All donations will be much appreciated and support the running costs of the magazine. I also want to say that these running costs do not include paying me! I’ve always enjoyed the magazine being free to whoever wants to read it. We intend to keep it that way! In the meantime, thanks for reading and please keep sharing Supernal so we can keep creating an educational, fun and enlightening magazine! Have a Supernal February and we hope you enjoy having Spirit and Elementals in your lives!

FILM REVIEW By ShirleySienna

February 2021

LETTERS FROM THE BIG MAN Letters from the Big Man, a film written and directed by Christopher Munch, first came to my attention pre-release, through a crystal skull caretaker friend of mine in the USA. He spent a lot of his time in the forest and is an artist and writer. Andy continues his grandfather’s keen interest in Bigfoot, who had not only sighted the creature but had also written a book on it. Andy and other Bigfoot researchers were invited to give interviews as an additional part to the film. It debuted at the Sundance Film festival in 2011 and it is a film that has stayed with me for the past decade. The film introduces Sarah, who has decided to take time out to recover from an emotional break up, by embarking on a post-fire stream survey for the forestry service in Southern Oregon. After a series of strange events, she realises she is interacting with what she can only conclude is ‘Sasquatch’. She realises she must take care to protect the privacy and interactions between what

8

Supernal Magazine

she comes to realise is her ‘interdimensional’ new friend and herself. Unlike many previous Bigfoot type movies, this is not about monsters; scary hairy beings and terror in the forest. The ‘Big Man’ is gentle, ethereal yet very physical and powerful at the same time. The film reminds us that not all myths are simply legends, that sometimes a reality exists. I found it interesting that the director gives us a full view of the creature early on, before Sarah herself sees it. It shows Sarah sensing its presence, beginning to sketch it and creating watercolours of it from an intuitive connection until the actual physical introduction takes place. I loved that the director is not afraid to enter the realms of spirituality and extra sensory perception. The film is about the variance of the natural world; human, non-human and the beautiful nature that surrounds, sustains and continues to amaze us.

Ceremony 21/12/2020

My Perspective

By Timothy Mark Fish

The ceremony in December was primarily to complete an interrupted ceremony from the time of creation. There was one important stage to complete it and it was done as it should have been - as it was foretold it would be - without publicity, fanfare, trumpet blowing or an audience. The missing piece of the puzzle is missing no more and now rests exactly where it should be, in the warmth of Mother’s embrace. And that’s all anyone really needs to know about the ceremony. As far as I’m aware, there were three large group ceremonies around Yulara that evening; one behind the resort, one in the camping ground and one on top of a hill outside the camping ground. My focus was on participating in our ceremony. On Saturday night, we had a private smoking and releasing ceremony, performed in the old ways, for the crew that had gotten us this far; the Originals and ‘non’ Originals who would lead the ceremony on Monday night. Under ominous skies and with the smell of rain thick in the air, we released our demons into the fire and cleansed ourselves with the smoke 10

of Aunties desert medicine leaves and eucalyptus. We walked in a circle, anticlockwise, devouring and being devoured, by the cleansing smoke - perfect preparation. “There was one important stage to complete it and it was done as it should have been - as it was foretold it would be - without publicity, fanfare, trumpet blowing or an audience.”

Sunday night we invited everyone around the camping ground that day to another smoking ceremony. That went well, although it turned ‘new age’ when a certain female, invited by us to show unity, decided to invite the Pleiadians to the ceremony. Not a wise move and something I intuitively knew would happen, as I watched her strange ritual from a distance, already having removed myself from this smoking ceremony when it became too weird for me. Different instruments and chants weren’t what I needed at that time; tomorrow’s ceremony was my focus and I was in full ‘old ways’ mode. On Monday, we started gathering mid-afternoon for a communal feast before a final smoke cleansing, then painted our bodies and faces with ochre. Aunt Trish was our lore holder and

prepared us in proper old lore ways. We formed a large circle, with clap sticks marking the beat and the men leading. We meandered to the top of the hill and formed two circles, the women facing Uluru and the men facing Kata Tjuta. Each circle slapped on the red sand of Mother, with the first one slapping six

news update into ninety minutes of silently giving our love to Mother and Mother responded in so many ways, with signs abundant.

times, then the person to their right slapping the red sand and so on. It flows anticlockwise as Mother rotates to go back to the Ancestors, until the circle is complete. The resonance in the circle and on the hill had a beautiful connectivity to Mother as we all slapped in unison. Clap sticks in time with Mother’s heartbeat led us

Birds flew through and among us; a pair of topnotch pigeons, the doves of the desert, settled in a tree metres away, joining us in silence. Ominous looming thunderstorms of red dust clouds turned into one of Mother’s better sunsets, a brilliant orange with many ancestral faces and images among the clouds. The moon was a distinct almost bright blue, as the clouds thinned above us. There were several patches of blue amid the brilliant orange; a patch of bright blue sky, not unheard of at sunset. At one stage, a perfect ‘V’ cloud of pure white appeared at the top of the patch that was in my direct line of vision, over the top of Kata Tjuta. The sand around us was noticeably warmer, even though the day was cooling. All in all, Mother was pleased and she was showing it for all to see. “We meandered to the top of the hill and formed two circles, the women facing Uluru and the men facing Kata Tjuta.”

As the sunset faded, the women led us down the hill and back to the fire. Aunties leading the way down the hill with myself as the last person. From this vantage point I could see the line stretched all the way to the

campground. Over one hundred people had shared their love for Mother on that red sand hilltop facing Uluru and Kata Tjuta, in silence, in harmony, in unison with Mother and each other. “Everyone giving love to Mother that night with focus and intent to benefit Mother and not one’s self, helped Her reach her new vibration…”

At the fire pit, we formed a circle again and all went into the centre and back out three times, breathing as one with Mother. We concluded the ceremony as it was meant to be done. There were of course many ceremonies around the country and the globe that night, for the most part all playing an important role in the energies we felt from Mother and are still feeling today. No one ceremony was more important than any other, let’s be quite clear about that. Everyone giving love to Mother that night with focus and intent to benefit Mother and not one’s self, helped Her reach her new vibration and every one of you is important to help keep it there. Keep the focus on love for Mother, keep raising her vibration and, consequentially, our own. Keep the love vibe happening!

The Magical Unseen World By Anthony Kilner and Freya Savitri Sampson Unseen by most and disbelieved by many, there is a subtle world interconnected to our physical one. It’s the world where our ‘imaginary’ friends are real, where the departed walk and creatures of the night exist. They are the realms of the Spirit and the Elementals. The Spirit World While we refer to the Spirit as a collective, we can also use Spirits as multiple beings. A Spirit has no physical body, existing in the Astral Realms as an energy being, with varying levels of awareness. Existing as a high frequency of energy, the Spirit is about learning and evolving for a soul’s higher purpose. This is why there are varying levels within the Astral for that education. The amazing ability for Spirits to interact with us on the physical plane is what makes our lives special, we can choose to accept the reality of this phenomenon or not. Understanding the Spirit World, from a different angle based on learning and experience, is what this article aims to explore, reflecting both of the author’s interpretation of Spirit and Elementals. If we consider the

12

Supernal Magazine

Earth as the starting level (or starting vibration), we then start with our human physical body. When we die, our physical body returns to the Earth, while our soul moves on to its next incarnation, hopefully at a slightly higher vibration. Partly increased, due to the absence of a physical body, which previously anchored the Spirit to the Earth. To access the Spirit Realm we, in bodies, are required to raise our vibration to work with these souls.

“Existing as a high frequency of energy, the Spirit is about learning and evolving for a soul’s higher purpose.”

The Spirit’s next incarnation will depend on the level of awareness and soul growth attained in their previous life also taking into account those prior. Below is a basic guide of how the layers of the Chakra System work in relation to the various incarnations, moving into the Astral Realm. From our perspective, just because a person passes doesn’t mean they automatically ‘get smarter’ or gain enlightenment. It is possible that a soul can accrue a karmic deficit, creating more mess than before to clean up. Because free will applies, this means there is no guarantee a person will awaken after forgetting who they are, during the process of being

feature compressed into a small body from the vastness of their Soul and Spirit. In our world, Hell is a dimension that can be experienced during life on Earth, depending on the use of one’s free will. Is there a Heaven? Yes, we believe that the Astral Realm and the beings within it are able to create any world needed to help us come to terms with, understand, and grow from our passing. At the highest level of truth, beyond the Astral, when we return to the Spirit of Oneness, we are All at that ideological frequency of ineffability, ‘Heaven’. Levels of Earthbound Spirit These first three Chakras, listed below, are types of Earth Bound Spirit, and require help from physical beings

“Through all the layers of the Astral, there are beings that live and work with evolving souls, teachers, sharers of knowledge…”

to evolve. This help can be supplied by a trained medium, shaman or professional well versed in this field. Remember that true mediumship and shamanism is always based in service: unconditional love and healing and helping the Spirit, both in and out of body to evolve, thereby creating a positive result for all concerned. It’s not an ego-based achievement, where the Spirit is moved into the light without the clearing of trauma or past issues. Base Chakra: Etheric Being – This is a spirit that has not accepted their passing. They may have unfinished business, a message to give, and will loop when talking about their life up until the point of their death, only to then repeat themselves. Sacral Chakra: Sacral Being – This is usually a child, although it can be an older person who has passed over due to serious emotional trauma. This trauma needs understanding via a physical being to help the Spirit evolve properly. Solar Plexus Chakra: Mental Being – This is a Spirit who is aware of their passing yet has not fully embraced this experience. They are generally

“When we refer to the Elemental Realms, essentially, we break them up into five different groups: Earth, Fire, Air, Water and Ether.”

not held back by emotions, yet may feel they want to stay connected to their physical loved ones, prohibiting their evolvement. Heart Chakra: Corporeal Being – Once a spirit has evolved through the various realms they learn and understand that they have the ability to freely move from one Astral Realm to another, backwards and forwards through time and space as we know it. Remember, within the Spirit World there is no linear time and space. Through all the layers of the Astral, there are beings that live and work with evolving souls, teachers, sharers of knowledge, allowing each soul to grow and move towards Nirvana or Oneness with the Universe. It sounds so simple and yet it may be massively complicated, as it’s layers within layers, involving incarnation on different planets as different beings living different experiences. It’s all experience to our Soul’s journey!

well as humans! In turn they have a community that looks after an area, a state, a country and the planet. These communities work out of phase with us and are part of the Astral Realms above. Here’s a basic guide to elementals and how they interact with the planet and us. There are volumes dedicated to each elemental group, dating back to the beginning of time, as well as a multitude of fictional books written about them, all with the common theme of how they exist amongst us humans.

The Elemental World When we refer to the Elemental Realms, essentially, we break them up into five different groups: Earth, Fire, Air, Water and Ether. Like the Spirit World, if we use the physical vibration as the starting point, we may be required in effect, to lower our vibration to see many of the elementals in question. Elementals are often referred to as the beings that live and work with nature. Every culture has different names for these elementals, however the overarching understanding is that they bridge the space between nature and us. Elementals live in a hierarchical world (much like us), where they have workers, teachers, kings and

14

Supernal Magazine

queens, as well as the Deva’s that oversee everything happening on the planet. You may envision every home or place, on the planet, as having an elemental community to look after it. This includes crystals and minerals, below and above the Earth’s surface, oceans, plants, animals (land and sea), as

Earth Many of the common Elementals connected to the Earth include: Gnomes, Elves, Goblins and Trolls. These folk look after the trees, mountains, the physical parts of nature as well as earth bound animals, including humans. Most people will understand that everything has a Spirit or

“While we could easily get lost in dividing the Spirit World and the Elemental World, it should be known that they co-exist with each other.”

feature Fetish within it, from trees to crystals, and all come under this banner. Earth Elementals help us stay grounded and connected to the planet. Fire Fire is a universal cleanser in many ways. Without fire and its cleansing properties, many plants cannot germinate and rebirth in an area. Mammals need heat and fire to survive; Salamanders are responsible for this. These are the dragons that live and breathe fire, providing the energy and passion for life and rebirth. Air Sylphs are the winged Elementals that include Faeries, Pixies and Sprites. This group of beings interact to create the breath of life. They create or work with the weather, generating an emotional response within people as they go about their daily lives. Water Undines are the Elementals that look after our water in the oceans, lakes, rivers and creeks. They are often seen as

Merfolk or even winged beings that move through the water with grace and ease. Undines also work in water-charged air during storms and rain, to help bring about changes on the planet. Given that our physical bodies are made up of around 70 percent water it’s easy for Undines to connect with us on a physical and emotional level. Ether We mentioned previously that Elementals live in a hierarchical world, with the Deva’s overseeing everything that happens on the planet. In a hierarchical world there has to be a system which focuses upon and moves towards an apex, in this case Nirvana or Oneness.

“Spirit and Elementals are a part of the very fabric of life on this planet and should be acknowledged as such.” Deva’s control the spiritual aspect from the Earth ‘up’. Deva’s are responsible for looking after the other

“Most people will understand that everything has a Spirit or Fetish within it, from trees to crystals, and all come under this banner.” Elementals as well as the physical wellbeing of humanity, both in the physical and in the Spirit worlds. Their job is to help this planet and everything on it to evolve. While we could easily get lost infinitely dividing the Spirit World and the Elemental World, it should be known that they co-exist with each other. Everything is connected on multiple planes of existence and what impacts one area impacts another! Next time you cut down a bush or tree, kill or eat an animal, lose a friend or family member, or feel the impact of fire or storms, just remember to ask the Elementals to bless the animals, help the spirits that live in the trees or even ask them to help with the passing of a person into their next evolvement. Spirit and Elementals are a part of the very fabric of life on this planet and ought rightfully be acknowledged as such. Whether society believes, is not the question to pursue – it’s whether you believe in your heart that they exist. If you look within and find this to be true, they will verily make themselves known to you. We certainly believe and love the special bond we share with our Elemental friends. It makes life so magical!

Re-Wild

Your Water

Kangan water is possibly the healthiest restructured water available on the planet. There are a range of machines and products available to suit all countries, interest free terms (conditions apply) and Enagic’s distribution network is global making it easy to get a machine in your home in virtually any country! “The world is using almost 500 Billion plastic water bottles every year, the majority of which end up in our landfills and oceans. Transforming ordinary tap water into structured, hydrogen rich, electrolysed reduced water essential for health and wellbeing is the answer to this staggering problem.”

“Our Earth is a giant container of water, from which all forms of life arose. And every living thing is itself essentially a container of water. Like the Earth, we are 70 percent water. It follows, naturally, that the health of the Earth is directly proportionate to the health of ourselves.” “Not only does drinking and utilising Kangan water for cleaning and toxin removal purposes create a healthy life, there’s a unique business opportunity that allows people to live a lifestyle that is financially rewarding as well.”

Tree Spirit-Wisdom By ShirleySienna The guardians of trees are officially known as Dryads, very ancient and wise elemental beings. I have been fascinated by them for as long as my memory serves and my own inner occult, in my galactically coded oracle, is that of the ‘Wizard’, whose wisdom is held within the trees. The nature spirits, elementals and spirit folk reveal their shape and form to me. Not only the ones who reside within the energy of the tree and surrounding landscape but also the multi-dimensional

beings, who utilise the tree to show themselves. The shimmering of the leaves as you lie under a tree and look up into the branches is fascinating and mesmerising. We are often told to, “Go hug a tree,” meaning just that, to receive a lovely flow of healing in return. With your back close up against a tree or facing, hands on the trunk, you will be able to release pent up negativity and to ground or reconnect, when you’re a little off kilter. The trees create the perfect vibration to use as a vortex or realm travelling system

“They are, of course, known by many different names around the world but here in Australia we have the Yowie.” for so many different entities and life forms. One I feel very familiar with and see as totally connected to tree energy, is the ‘Sasquatch, Bigfoot or Yeti, sometimes also called with respect the ‘Big Man’. You may think it is an American-only deity or simply a legend however. I assure you; it is not! These amazing wonders are spiritual, physical, interdimensional and more. They are very tangible when entering our varying levels of 3D and yet step so easily into invisibility. They seem to be able to create a portal, a magical gateway, that they step through in the blink of an eye. They are, of course, known by many different names around the world but here in Australia we have the Yowie. I have had sightings and proof of this both from people close to me and from those who have sought me out over the years. The beings I have personally seen on a spiritual or interdimensional level are similar to the traditional Sasquatch found in North

America. I have experienced them in my dreams, meditations and wide-awake visions. They appear extremely tall however because of what they are; they can be as tall, or as short as they need to be in the moment. I have also physically ‘felt’ their energy in certain places I have visited and it feels similar to our own Yowie. Sometimes the energy is to tell me to ‘stay out’ of that place for now, whereas other times I am able to walk right in. I have noticed the trees in these specific areas feel very magical indeed. A friend, who was receiving medical treatment for an illness, was helped by what she described as a Sasquatch-like creature, when her car was stuck after driving home late. She had no other explanation of how she managed to get her car out and herself home without the help of the creature she felt with her. She had no proof, but she shared her story. Some plants and trees have a two-way nutrient transport system that is called the ‘xylem and the phloem’. It is relevant and similar to our human inner bio system, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

“The beings I have personally seen on a spiritual or interdimensional level are similar to the traditional Sasquatch found in North America.”

The xylem transports and stores water and water soluble nutrients, whilst the phloem is responsible for transporting sugars, proteins, and organic molecules. This is their vascular system and allows the plants to grow higher than others, due to the rigidity of the xylem cells which support it. The xylem flows up from roots to leaves, whilst the phloem can flow both up and down. I am often inspired to use this in guided meditations by perceiving healing energy moving through the xylem and phloem of the body; a system of dispersing nutrition for body, mind and soul. It is also a pertinent way to focus the shift and movement of oxygen and blood flow throughout the body, for real-time physical healing, which we have the power of mindset to achieve.

“An enjoyable meditative experience is to imagine yourself or even do some personal art therapy and draw yourself as a tree.” An enjoyable meditative experience is to visualise yourself or even do some personal art therapy and draw yourself as a tree. You can imagine the height, breadth and type of tree, whether it’s a young sapling or an old dead tree. If you have ‘Wizard’ kin within your ‘Dreamspell’ oracle, you are of the Earth Family and hold the frequency of the ‘Gateway’. The chakra connected to this is the Root or Base chakra. The power of this kin is the Inner Shaman, who can travel without actually moving and holds the magic of Enchantment, Timelessness and Receptivity. In many movies we see the trees ‘coming to life’, portrayed, as either terrifying or life-giving saviours depending on the script.

Take some time to see, hear and feel the trees around you. Clint Eastwood sang ‘I talk to the trees’ in the film Paint Your Wagon, where the lyrics continued, “But they don’t listen to me.” Well, I beg to differ; we just don’t stop long enough to hear their reply!

Part 2

Continuing the fascinating story of the Bermuda Triangle from the January Issue, Freya Savitri Sampson delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding this amazing place and its connection to extra-terrestrials. Enter the Dragon In Cosmic Disclosure (Season 9, episode 3), Emery Smith interviews David Adair, a

boy genius and Rocket Scientist working with the US Military. He now runs his own company specialising in technologies that are transmigrated from the space programs to civilian life. His focus is on the betterment of the environment and life on Earth for humanity. https://www.exopaedia.org/ Adair%2C+David

The plot thickens as David explains the fundamentals of the theory of time travel and the part that cyclotrons, such as CERN, play in human endeavours to access and harness it, as well as other practical bi-products, such as transmutation and teleportation. David says, “A computerised transporter takes matter, breaks it down into energy, transports it from point A to point B, then reassembles it back together. Imagine being able to remove all of the rubbish in the world’s oceans by locking onto it and teleporting it at the speed of light, to the Sun to be burnt up.” “The reason humans’ desire time travel is because we are actually stuck in time. Humans live by linear time, chronologically, on a timeline, in consecutive numbers.” He references extra-terrestrials when he says, “Other species are not limited like that.” David tells a fascinating story from the early 1970s when he was contacted by an Admiral from the Navy Command Centre of the entire western hemisphere. “We have a problem with the satellites when they go through

Emery asks David, “Is the Bermuda Triangle some sort of an anomaly that is connected to teleportation and time travel?”

David discovered at a later date that there was a similar problem occurring in the Dragon’s Triangle. With his wicked sense of humour, he replied to the Admiral, “So, you want me to fix the Bermuda Triangle? Can I do this before or after lunch?” Laughing he acknowledges, “This probably wasn’t the best thing to say.” Upon reporting for duty, the Admiral told David, “After fixing the satellite problem you will be working with Dr. J Allen Hynek.” David was not keen as, at the time, he considered him to be a wacky UFO hunter. The Admiral said, “Are you familiar with the term ‘order’?” and David laughed out loud at his own cheekiness. After leaving the office, David says to Allen, “Did you see that big globe in the Admiral’s office? We’re going to come back and steal it tonight.” To which Allen says, “I’ve heard about you Adair and what I’ve heard it seems it’s true.” The pair procured a pickup truck and a large tyre, which they put in the back. Later that night they came back Supernal Magazine

and David told the armed guards to open the door, as he is ordered to work. Allen and David enter the Admiral’s office and unpin the globe, which hits the floor with a loud ‘boom’.

24

Much later, when Allen became the consultant for Stephen Spielberg while making the movie ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’, he wrote this event into the movie. Back in the workshop, they unload the globe and David begins drilling small holes in it. Allen freaks out, “Oh man, we’re going to Leavenworth for this!” David assures him, “I’m a modeller, I’ll fill, patch and paint the holes, and then put the globe back and no one will ever be the wiser.”

it’s a vortex that goes from planet to planet and that’s what extra-terrestrials use for interplanetary travel. That’s how they know how to get to the next planet. Allen thought that this was a fascinating idea. David called NORAD and gave them the latitude and longitude coordinates for the satellites to avoid. Now the satellites are programmed to move in a curve around that central point area. David states, “Whatever it is, it’s the real thing, it’s really there.”

The name Dragon’s Triangle comes from a centuries old Chinese legend of dragons living in palaces beneath the sea. The actual area encompasses a triangular line from western Japan north of Tokyo, to Guam and to David drilled three holes in Taiwan. It, like the Bermuda each corner of the Bermuda Triangle, exhibits some Triangle, then used three magnetic anomalies and sticks, one in each corner vessels that pass through it and a soda straw in the have reported navigation centre, to create an apex. and communication He pushed a long welder’s malfunctions. Both of the Triangles are located at the eastern end of large continental masses, where the sea’s currents intersect with warm and cold water, over volcanic areas.

feature Both have deep trenches: the Dragon’s Triangle in the Pacific Ocean has the Mariana Trench, the deepest known point in all the seas and the Dragon’s Triangle, the Puerto Rico Trench, so large at 30 000ft, that only the tip of Mt Everest would protrude. The Dragon’s Triangle, more so than the Bermuda Triangle, reports an ever-changing seascape with professionally charted landmasses and islands forming and disappearing literally overnight. The depths of these trenches currently remain unexplored with many theorising that the sunken cities of Atlantis are in the watery depths of these locations. Project Blue Book With their success of the Bermuda Triangle, David and Alan began working together on Unidentified Submerged Objects for the US military. At that time, the US military had leaked disinformation that Project Blue Book was being disbanded in December 1969 and officially ceased operation in January 1970. The project had been renamed, and this information is still classified. Their job was to follow up on reports from civilians and others who witnessed USO’s. David said, “A pattern emerged as we investigated the claims. Many of the people who filed reports

were illiterate and lived more than 2000 miles apart. They did not know each other, yet they were all telling the same story of underwater discs and lights coming and going.” David says there was only one time that he saw something. Again some of the information is still classified, however he was able to share that he and Allen attended an island in the Bermuda Triangle, which was blocked off by Navy ships. On the island was a disc-shaped UFO, about 100ft wide. It had a run aground and was sticking out of the ground on an angle, higher than the palm trees. A walkway was extended to the ground from the light-filled centre of the disc and was part of the craft. It had a textured surface, indicating that the beings which occupied the craft were bipedal anthropoids. Allen was first at this site and was distressed because he knew the crew had been separated from the craft. When David first saw him, his eyes were wide and questioning? Allen simply stated, “Unoccupied.” David describes the craft as being cold to the touch, despite the hot Caribbean sun and that it was beyond human technology, containing no join seams or weld lines. It was one solid smooth piece. Supernal Magazine

Phase Shifting and The Philadelphia Experiment (PE)

“When the ship showed up again, the crew were embedded in the floor and the walls and some were still alive.”

In describing the filmed and reported movements of UFO and USO craft, as ‘phase shifting’ David utilised the example of Nikola Tesla and the PE. During WWII, the US military employed Tesla to create a way to phase-shift the Navy’s ships, so that they would no longer be seen on the water by the enemy. David explains a solid mass hit by white sunlight, outlines it so it can be seen. Tesla wrapped the ship in coils and, after he gave the Navy instructions, they disposed of him. David says, “It’s crazy to throw the professor out before the experiment is complete.” Tesla warned them, “If you don’t get your settings right on this, it will get away from you and get out of control fast. You’ll be hitting an area that you know nothing about - Time Travel.” That’s exactly what happened. The Navy cranked up the power to its maximum level and the ship phased completely out of sight - gone! It showed up in 1985 and was photographed in a harbour; it continued to show up at other places at different times. Tesla had said that when things are

phase-shifting the molecular structure becomes soft. When the ship showed up again, the crew were embedded in the floor and the walls and some were still alive. There has been some slightly inaccurate reporting, as Einstein is quoted as the ‘Science Mastermind’ behind this work, however he was actually Nikola Tesla’s student. https:// www.youtube.com/ watch?v=nlHUHf9UC4Y In Beyond Belief, (Season 2, episode 6), George Noory interviews Joshua P Warren, one of the world’s preeminent investigators of the paranormal. He is the Founder of the Bermuda Triangle Research Centre in Puerto Rico, which investigates and studies all anomalous behaviour in the Triangle, especially its centre and USO activity. Joshua shares the leaked homeland Security video from the Puerto Rican airport. Joshua says, “It took about six months for the video to be leaked. However, there was a lot of information about what had occurred pretty much straight away! Puerto Rico is a small place and everybody knows everybody. It was the talk of the town. The airport was shut down and all flights were grounded that day. The interesting point about

the craft was that it entered the Atlantic Ocean and was filmed moving under the water. “During its journey, it was joined by a second craft, already underwater. In the video, the craft can be seen phasing in and out. They both disappear into the ocean in the Puerto Rico Trench.” The below video was studied by a group of scientists, who generated a 162 page report, confirming its 100 percent voracity. https://youtu.be/ QnUM3x3GvaU Joshua says that he chose Puerto Rico for the BTRC’s location, as it has some of the world’s creepiest ghost stories. He cites the very low gravitational field on that part of the planet and has been researching the connection between gravity and paranormal activity.

Through the extraordinary work of people such as Nikola Tesla, David Pares, David Adair, Dr. J Allen Hynek and Joshua P Warren, we are, to coin a Star Trek phrase, “Going beyond, where any human has gone before.” Who would have thought, that the Bermuda Triangle would give rise to such an incredible opportunity? What an extraordinary world this is. I hold the vision that these technologies and discoveries are utilised for the highest potential good. So, let us take this moment to pause in reflection and gratitude for all of those, whose lives have been lost in the Bermuda and Dragon’s Triangles for, without their sacrifices, these extraordinary leaps in consciousness and technology may not have come about. Living In The Gaian Mind Gaia Consciousness – The Divine Web of Life By Charles Snelleksz-Mathelot – Co-Founder Gaian Heart Wisdom

During the 19th century, we were told that humans developed from slime mould or bacteria. We were led to believe that the development of our superior intelligence and opposable thumbs allowed us to become the dominant species on planet Earth. Nothing could be further from the truth!

intelligent and gives order and remedy to her children, who are varied in form and appearance yet deeply connected by her web of life. Gaia is the spirit of the Earth and her consciousness is embedded into everything that has form on this planet. The indigenous perspective that the Earth is a highly intelligent organism, feeds into Lovelock’s Gaia Theory. The Earth has an intelligence, Gaia, it seems, is responsible which was supplanted by for pulsing her divine energy the science of the time, until into every ecosystem, scientist James Lovelock, interlacing her life force proposed the Gaia theory in and consciousness with 1972. Lovelock suggests that that of all other life forms all living organisms on planet present, hence creating and Earth and their inorganic maintaining the cycle of life. environment are intrinsically connected, forming a Stephen Harrod Buhner synergistic system which is an herbalist, awardself-regulates. In his interview with climate and biochemical Dan Harrison from Ascend conditions on our beautiful Podcast, Buhner said “Fundamental to humanity’s planet. intelligent and every organism on the Earth is also highly intelligent. We partake of this intelligence because we are a part of that larger organism. Human beings have to let go of all the conditioning we have

undergone to see ourselves as superior and separate to the Earth.”

It’s clear, and at the same time sad, to witness the confusion the majority of the populace experiences because they still hold onto the belief that the Earth is just a rock hurtling around the sun, without intelligence and therefore, no self-regulatory capacity. However, those of us who are gardeners, may have experienced intimate friendships with the plant world, that have touched us causing us to feel a presence residing within plants and trees. Dr Monica Gagliano, a researcher in plant cognitive ecology, boldly extends the concept of perception, learning processes, memory and consciousness to plants. She invites the world into a more meaningful discourse on plant subjectivity, sentience and ethical standing cognition. In her experiments with mimosa pudica plants, which look like ferns and respond to danger by temporarily collapsing their leaves, Gagliano set up a mechanism that dropped the plants without causing them harm. The plants interpreted this action as danger and collapsed their leaves. She dropped the plants repeatedly every five

health and wellbeing seconds without harming them. After about five drops, the plants stopped collapsing their leaves; they learned that they were not in any danger. To make sure that the plants had not stopped closing their leaves out of exhaustion from the dropping, Gagliano began shaking them. The plants collapsed their leaves, but when they were dropped again, they did not collapse their leaves. Gagliano repeated the testing for a month; the plants remembered what they learnt. Speaking at the Australian Psychedelic Society 2019 event, ‘The Shaman and The Scientist’, Dr Gagliano was asked if she thought plants were here to help us in some way.

The Fairy World! By Jane Offer Recently I saw this saying, “My friend told me I live in fantasy land. I was so surprised that I almost fell off my unicorn!” It made me laugh, as this is the story of my life. I have always believed in elementals despite family derision and my fascination peaked when I read about two young cousins and their photographs of, what became known as, the Cottingley Fairies, named for their home village of Cottingley, near Bradford in the UK. The first two photographs were published in 1917, when Elsie Wright was 16 years-old and Frances Griffiths was

nine. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle saw them and used them to illustrate the article he wrote on fairies for The Strand Magazine’s 1920 Christmas edition. As a noted spiritualist of the time, he interpreted them as the ‘visible evidence of psychic phenomena’. Of course, they were met with a great deal of scepticism but the debate prevailed for many years with neither of the girls, by now married women, either agreeing or denying the authenticity of their photos. In the early1980s however, the girls admitted that the photographs were faked from cardboard cut-outs, but Frances maintained that the fifth

and final photograph was genuine. So, the truth remains hidden to this day. Fairies are the most commonly known Elementals, usually depicted in tiny human form with translucent wings. Their main role is as guardians of plants and flowers and they are also very powerful manifesters, using firm belief and clear visualisation to attract what they want into their lives. Harnessing the natural law through fairy energy and the moon cycles is a useful tool when manifesting for oneself.

“There is the fifth element which is pure Spirit, filling all space between the elements and is the essence of existence.” Fairies are one of many Elementals that are otherwise known as nature spirits or guardians; Pixies, Water Sprites, Imps, Mermaids and Unicorns are other examples of beings that belong to the natural realm. Just as angels are messengers from a higher source, Elementals are Earth’s natural guardians and messengers, and their role is to safeguard the Earth as

health and wellbeing it comes increasingly under threat from pollution and environmental destruction from human disregard. Each Elemental works with a particular Element: Earth, Air, Fire or Water, apart from Dragons, who work with all four. For example, Fairies, along with Pixies, Elves, Gnomes, Crystal and Stone Beings, and Wood Nymphs are associated with the Earth Element. Sprites, Mermaids, Mermen and Undines are associated with the Water Element. Sylphs, Sylphons, Spirulites and Imps are associated with the Air, and Salamanders are associated with Fire. They each work in harmony to keep Mother Earth in balance.

“Elementals are Earth’s natural guardians and messengers, and their role is to safeguard the Earth as it comes increasingly under threat from pollution and environmental destruction from human disregard.” There is the fifth element which is pure Spirit, filling all space between the elements and is the essence of existence. It is this element that allows us to reach beyond and connect to energy much greater than ourselves. All of creation is made up of these five interacting elements, and so too, is the human body. Therefore, we are bound to the natural order and have a responsibility to work with it.

Our five energy bodies relate to one of the elements and the relevant Elementals. The Earth element relates to our solid structures such as bones, flesh, skin, tissue, and hair, and is therefore, our grounding. The Water element relates to our emotional body and contains the memory of all the events of our life. The Fire element is the generator of energy in the body, just as the sun generates energy for the Earth, and the Air element relates to our intuition and the free-flowing movement of our thoughts. The fifth element is our eternal being, our divine energy, transmutation and our alchemical processes that fill ethereal space. We feel these elements working with us and through us via our Chakras, the reason it is so important to keep them in balance. We can connect our energy with that of the Elementals by engendering a deep caring for our environment and by surrounding ourselves with symbols of nature. We can walk, mindful of our surroundings, breathing in fresh air, noticing the individual trees by their names, rather than by a group title, ‘trees’. We can eat and drink as purely as possible, remembering the source of the gift that is nurturing our body.

“It has been shown in many medical studies that a connection to nature lifts depression, lifts our mood, bringing peace and a sense of belonging.”

There are so many ways to align ourselves with Elementals and all that the connection offers. All we need to do is maintain awareness. It has been shown in many medical studies that a connection to nature lifts depression, lifts our mood, bringing peace and a sense of belonging. We become a part of the magnificent mandala of life, connecting us to all that exists on every level on Earth and beyond. Who knows, if we practice, eventually we may be lucky enough to glimpse the Elementals themselves, to see them, not just the result of their incredible work in nature.

Divine Divine Time Time

Livin’ on the edge of time! Cometh the Time for recompense, or just; ‘send in the clowns’! Oh, no - don’t bother - they’re here! Integrity is key this month, from the 7th of February kin 55, Electric Eagle, which is too often responsible for catastrophe or a huge change. This may feel like a catastrophe if you are unprepared. Do I live what I believe is the question? Don’t bother answering, for none of us really do. Modern humans have drawn themselves away from the edge in fear, rather than enjoying the exhilaration of standing upon it and trusting they will not fall, unless their time has come! This is the 8th Hawk Moon of Galactic Integrity, ready or not! Timing is good though, as this 2021 year has a 28day February, which is in alignment with the Law of Natural Time of Earth Mother. Twenty-eight days of natural flow. Date-wise, it takes us to the 6th of March, Kin 82, White Self Existing Wind. White Wind in higher form - where we all need to be in this February - is the High Priestess, which is the second of the twenty glyphs.

“I am the High Priestess Coded by the White Wind I enter your universe Through the second Light gate My number is two The challenge of the Wind As it turns in every direction Harnessing the power of the “word” Let your tongue speak only what is glorious Is my challenge to you - for I am the Lady of the Winds Keeper of the mind tunnels opened through crystal song From my crown, my hair emerges As the top knot of the infinite I am the holder of the spirit of prophecy I harness the energy of breath filling the body with vitality The jewel on my foreheads is the indestructible wisdom that illumines My every thought Sent by divine decree My command is always directed To your spirit essence alone Listen for me always when the wind Arises from nowhere.” The universe has a ‘do no harm’ motto that we don’t necessarily listen too. This is reflected by the

divine guidance war that we constantly rage on one another. Read carefully, the verse of White Wind, the High Priestess and utilise communication in its highest form, with the integrity that is the epitome of this moon. Be discerning when you read, when you listen and when you watch. Seek and speak as truthfully as you can. If you cannot, say nothing. Words come from the heart in February and, if we point at the famous, or is it ‘infamous’ Valentine’s Day, we usually can espy a lot of pain, more than the love it’s supposedly all about. A self-worth reflective moment that has old daggers in the lonely and wounded hearts aching around the world.

“Time to draw breath and enjoy the invigoration of stepping out of one’s comfort zone.”

Forrest Gump’s “Life is like a box of chocolates” quote rings true. Heart-shaped or pear-shaped, which is an upside-down heart, the box of mysterious flavours can be enjoyed without looking at the card that tells you which one is which. The little card inside the box is called the ‘key card’. Time to find the keys to some locks, unchain a few hearts and allow ourselves to wander closer to the edge. Time to draw breath and enjoy the invigoration of stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Maybe shape shifting a little, perhaps into the hawk, where you get a bird’s eye view and the ability to glide upon the winds of integrity and spirit like never before in your life. The risk is well worth it. Half way through February, the 17th, just as this issue of the magazine is due, you may experience some cool Kundalini energy. It’s Kin 65, the luminous and very Red Serpent coming to life, with its ‘lucky for some’ 13th cosmic tone of Presence being felt by all.

Spirit Sp irit of things An insight into Physical Phenomena By Samantha Duly Karen Richards, is a medium and psychic living in Perth. Karen is very dedicated and passionate about all types of physical phenomena, and has sat with many physical mediums over the years. This has allowed her to be privy to some amazing experiences in many kinds of phenomena, both in her group and travels abroad. Through physical mediumship the spirit world can validate that life is continuous by using energy in a physical way. Karen explained that the spirit world use photoplasmic energy taken from sitters, a medium or the environment, also known as kinetic energy. It has always been used in the séance room to produce the same phenomena as ectoplasm does and more. The difference is that it’s hard to pick up on camera and by sitters unless it’s built a certain way, but when done so, it can be seen visibly and felt within the room. Photoplasm also is used to coat the ectoplasm to protect it from light. Photoplasm will be dispersed first without harming the medium caused by a sudden exposure to light or human touch. Ectoplasm is produced from

the medium’s body. It was, and often still is, assumed by many to be the only energy used in the séance room to create phenomena. It’s taken from the medium or even some sitters, as we all have ectoplasm in different amounts. Physical mediums have an abundance, which some refer to as the life force of the medium. This was confirmed and shows when the spirit forms have a pulse, which I was told, is the pulse of the medium via the ectoplasm. There are various forms of physical phenomena: • Levitation, which refers to table tipping, where a table can move around, spin and also levitate. • Direct voice, mostly using the trumpet, which looks like a long cardboard cone. The spirit world uses the voice box of the medium, projecting it through the trumpet, which is normally seen in mid-air. This is spectacular to witness. • Percussion is when ectoplasmic rods can be seen controlling the trumpets and when manipulated energy is heard as raps and knocks.

• Apports are ‘gifts’ from the spirit world in many forms, such as crystals, coins and significant precious gems, such as a loved one’s jewellery. These can literally fall from mid-air or manifest from the medium’s form. Karen has had jewellery made from some of the apports she has received.

“Ectoplasm is produced from the medium’s body. It was, and often still is, assumed by many to be the only energy used in the séance room to create phenomena.” One of the most famously renowned mediums who used materialisation is Welshman, Jack Webber. He had ectoplasm drawn from his solar plexus which formed two ectoplasmic rods through which the trumpets communicated. On one occasion, Jack’s arms and legs were tied to a chair and a table levitated in front of the group. Ethel Post-Parrish, another famous physical medium, was seated and entranced in her cabinet when her guide

mediumship Silver Belle clearly materialised outside the curtain. Photographs were taken of this phenomenon. Karen has had many experiences with table tipping and shares fascinating stories of a table climbing up a wall and one being levitated over everyone’s heads and touching the ceiling. Karen visited Lilydale in USA in 2019, where she experienced precipitated art. This is when a physical medium sits in front of an easel with plain paper and pastels or pencils and the spirit world ‘apport’ magnificent images of loved ones to the sitters.

“One of the most famously renowned mediums who used materialisation is Welshman, Jack Webber.” The well-known Bang sisters would also apport the most amazing artwork in this way. Karen is now sitting for the practice of precipitation. In one particular séance, Karen was asked to lay her arm on the entranced medium’s arm as he sat in the cabinet. His arms were connected to the chair via cable ties. The entranced medium began to vibrate very fast and became very hot. He then passed his arm freely through the ties, lifting them vertically to be replaced back in the ties by spirit; this allowed Karen to experience matter passing through matter. Karen told me that the most memorable phenomena

she had witnessed, was in Switzerland. Bill Meadows was seated in the cabinet, which then opened up with a plaque materialising, showing the face of a much younger man than Bill. She was able to touch and hold the face, which felt like ‘living’ flesh. Karen also recently sat for scientific and experimental sittings for research in the UK. At the last sitting, the entranced medium was seated in the cabinet and the other sitters were singing to raise the energy for the medium. She then witnessed a being, at least seven foot tall and coated in ectoplasm, glide from behind the cabinet. The being came to the red light, put his face down to the light so he could be seen and then lifted his head to look at all the sitters. Karen noticed that he appeared to have no feet and was floating just above the ground.

“She then witnessed a being, at least seven foot tall and coated in ectoplasm, glide from behind the cabinet.” There is so much that we don’t know about physical phenomena and mediumship and we continue learning about it constantly. Yours in Spirit

Sacred Sites – The Alchemy

Uluru By Freya Savitri Sampson

High-Lore Elder, Nana Violet Newman, took me on an inner-plane journey to the heart of Australia, where she initiated me into the mysteries of Dreamtime Lore for the current times. It occurred to me then this was a familiar place,as I had already visited Uluru during my first Crystal Dreaming session in 2009. I was surprised to find myself there - the great iron filled rock - rusty red in the desert sun. Around it a torus shaped rainbow; Rainbow Serpent, and emerging from its side as an extension, rainbow beings; the Rainbow Tribe. I make no definitive claims by making this statement I only share my experience and how the energy of Uluru presented itself to me. Through my Crystal Dreaming experience, these beings proved to be unconditionally loving and agenda-less. They thanked me for being of service. I knew they were referring to my showing up in that moment to receive instruction. I also understood they were referring to my time in the Pilbara region of WA and the influential changes to the community that my presence there had

40

Supernal Magazine

catalysed. They were also referring to things I was yet to do.

Shakti Durga, who was about to travel to Uluru on Retreat, to conduct a ceremony.

“I was surprised to find myself there the great iron filled rock - rusty red in the desert sun.”

“They spoke of another central site that is important and told me I needed to go to all of these places, pay respects to the land and the ancestors and to place my bare feet on the ground…”

They went on to tell me there are energy centres all around Australia, connected to Uluru by songlines (also known as Ley lines or Earth’s meridians). They spoke of another central site that is important and told me I needed to go to all of these places, pay respects to the land and the ancestors and to place my bare feet on the ground, so the Earth there would know me enabling me to call up the energy in the songlines when required. I was given information to pass on to my (then) spiritual Teacher,

This experience changed my life trajectory. Shortly thereafter, I found myself coming home from work on the bus reading a book called A Contract to Live, by Christine Bannigan. In this book was a reference to the hieroglyphs at Karijong, (Read the karijong article HERE). When I arrived home that day, my Photo Credit: Pixabay, Istock, Getty’s,

sacred sites housemate Millie was there and I was having a huge down pouring of spiritual guidance about Karijong, and its connection to Uluru. Millie had just been to the library and returned with a huge book pertaining to the many Aboriginal Tribes and Countries within Australia. As the information channelled through me, I spoke it out loud and Millie would open the book at a ‘random’ page and fascinatingly, the correlating information to what I was saying would be revealed. It was a most extraordinary experience. It was so accurate and the synchronicities were so bizarrely coordinated, neither of us could ignore it and we resolved to explore further. I felt compelled to call the Tourism Centre in Karijini National Park. I knew I needed to speak to an elder of that place. As you can imagine, it was quite an unusual phone call; “Hi I’m Freya, I need to find the Custodian of this place, you see I met the Rainbow Serpent and the Rainbow Tribe and they said...” Once they realised I wasn’t crazy, nor a threat of any kind to Native Title and that

my intent was sincere, I was gifted some pearls of wisdom and guidance, for which I am eternally grateful.

“I awoke from a nap and the sky was an orange-red hue. I thought there was an enormous fire but I could not smell any smoke.” I did indeed go on to pass on the information to my teacher, Shakti Durga, who received the information well and as far as I am aware, incorporated it into the process she was guided to do. There had been a Guru from Bali, Sri Jayanara, who had visited Australia and done his own ceremony at Uluru, which Shakti Durga was building upon. During the ceremony, such a profound release occurred in the meridians of the Earth that a great red dust storm was the result, and on Sept 22nd 2009 this spreading red dust, from South Australia’s interior, covered most of the Eastern states. https://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/2009_Australian_dust_ storm In Sydney, I awoke from a nap and the sky was an orange-red hue. I thought there was an enormous fire though I could not smell any smoke. When I finally made sense of the situation, realised there was red dust all over my bedroom. The white bedside tables were coated in it and I felt although I didn’t yet know what, that it had to do with the retreat and that I had received a massive blessing.

When I moved across Australia, I traversed the great song line that horizontally crosses the continent, visiting many sacred sites along the way. From Sydney to Perth, taking in the Great Ocean Road, the Nullarbor Plain and Great Australian Bight. I also visited one other very special area, in South Australia, at the suggestion of the Rainbow Beings and the Karijini custodian. It’s a large and very important place and one where those pearls of wisdom directed me close to where the dust storm was believed to have originated. Until next time, May the Source Be with You

Making SMART goals for success in 2021 By Derran Heney

“A goal without a plan is just a wish” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, 1943. It’s that time of year again, when we start to think about how we imagine a new year to be. Oftentimes the New Year’s resolutions we make start off well intentioned, but tend to fall by the wayside as the months progress. Motivation often starts at an all-time high and then frustratingly settles to that neutral point we were at before we made the goals. So how come some people are able to easily achieve their goal, keeping their motivation balanced? Research has shown that successful people tend to have certain habits that ensure their success. Their progress is possibly best described by the old saying; ‘slow and steady wins the race’ – meaning to make smaller, more achievable goals, and review them regularly. By setting these goals, motivation is kept at an even level and reached more easily. This is better than

42

Supernal Magazine

doing a nose dive and feeling defeated because of setting a goal too high, too big or too unrealistically.

“Oftentimes the New Year’s resolutions we make start off well intentioned, but tend to fall by the wayside as the months progress.” It is good to recognise and remember that reaching our goals is a progressive task, and to work out a method of keeping motivation high through the long haul. For more tips on habits of successful people, view video https://youtu.be/MCjJ2-fhYcU Making a list of what we achieved through 2020 is a good place to start. This acknowledges the changes that we have made and helps

to pinpoint goals that are still requiring our attention. Making our goals SMART is part of the plan for success. I will explain what the SMART acronym, created by George Doran (1981), stands for. S is Specific M is Measurable A is Achievable R is Relevant T is Time bound Let’s look at each of these a little more. Specific Being specific is about drilling down and being specific with the detail about what you want to achieve (the end goal) and how. It’s good to be able to

mental health answer the what, where, when, who and why type of questions. Jot down your ideas as a record of what you want to accomplish specifically and how. Does this overall goal then need to be broken up into small achievable steps to keep motivation and the sense of achievement high? What and who do you need to achieve your goals in terms of resources, people, funds and equipment, and what is the purpose of the goal; is it a stepping stone to a larger goal? Measurable Measuring successes is a numbers. By setting desirable targets, your goals become reachable and provide a guideline as you find yourself heading to the finish line. Achievable Reaching a sense of achievement is about setting goals that are attainable and easily met, rather than goals that lose their appeal quickly because they are too unrealistic to begin with. This is why making smaller, more achievable goals is preferred over making ones that have you feeling like a failure. Having a whiteboard or diary to check off your achievements is also helpful, allowing you to track your progress and see when it’s

time to move onto the next target.

“Celebrate and acknowledge your milestones. Some people find they achieve better results with a reward when nearing their goal…” Relevant Understanding relevance is about making sure that the goal you set is relevant to your life, your vision and what you desire to achieve. If the goal is not relevant, it can be easy for the wheels to fall off along the way and the wagon’s momentum and potential to be lost. Time Bound Time bound means setting a specific (realistic) date to complete a goal. This is the best way to measure progress.

“Jot down your ideas as a record of what you want to accomplish specifically and how.” Tips for success • Make sure that regular checking in with progress and reflecting on your goals becomes a habit. It may be that the steps you have identified to reach your goal

need modifying. It is very important to review and monitor progress made, and identify any areas requiring improvement. • Celebrate and acknowledge your milestones. Some people find they achieve better results with a reward when nearing their goal, so that could be something to build into your success plan for 2021. • Visualise yourself achieving your goals often and what it would look or feel like to make these changes. How would these change your life? • Make your goal setting fun! This keeps initiative and drive to achieve at a high. Remember to keep the vision alive. Good luck towards achieving your dreams in 2021. To find out more about SMART goals, please view: https:// youtu.be/PCRSVRD2EAk

The Mentalist

Who pulls the Trigger By Jason D. Varga

External stimulus is a must for human development, helping us learn and to understand who we are and where we fit into the larger picture. Our senses pick up over two million pieces of information every second. This may seem to be an extraordinarily high number, and it would also be overwhelming if this was a conscious process. However, our minds are clever machines. We take in all this information and filter it, we delete what seems unimportant, and we pigeon hole that which is like other experience or knowledge. In fact, we filter this large amount of external stimulus in many different ways to whittle that number down to seven

or eight pieces of information, on a conscious level. On a subconscious level, we still retain a large percentage of that information, and our filter systems aid us by giving us only what it thinks is important, what is relevant, fits in our world and self-view, or that is necessary for our personal safety. We have all heard the saying: “You get what you focus on.” This is largely true. Our intent programs our lives and shapes our reality. What happens though if we are constantly bombarded with the same information, more importantly, the same energy associated with that information?

“We get to a point where we only see negatives all around us and become totally oblivious to the joys of life.”

In today’s modern world, it is difficult to avoid being bombarded on a daily basis information that has a rather negative tone. We see the stories on social media, people complaining about this, that or the other. Mainstream media uses sensationalism to sell news, and there is nothing more sensational than stories filled with horror. Some dreadful event is reported, so the next story must be bigger, better, more dreadful and more worrying. A scene from Stanley Kubrick’s film, A Clockwork Orange comes to mind where the main character is forced to watch terrible and violent scenes over and over for a long period of time, therefore ‘programming’ him to violence. Is that any different to watching or reading depressing news stories every day? It may not be as obvious, it may be a slower process, but it is constant. Photo Credits: Pixabay, J.D.Varga

44

Supernal Magazine

mental health We become desensitised to all the horror. We even normalise it. Anxiety and depression in the Western world, indeed across the globe, are at constantly heightening levels, yet we are supposedly living in an age where we have a plethora of ways to help people’s mental health. Perhaps it is a conspired industry of keeping people on medication and anti-depressants (I’m sure this conspiracy theory has been around for some time, so I won’t go into it here). Coming from the hypnosis and psychological standpoint, these medications are a band aid to reduce the symptoms, but never really get to heal the cause; however I digress… or do I? For what could the cause be? Remembering that we get what we focus on, it seems a simple thing that if we feed our time and energy into reading depressing, triggering stories, then that is how we will shape our reality. All that negativity seeps into our subconscious and we end up like the depressed robot from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

“In today’s modern world, it is difficult to avoid being bombarded on a daily basis information that has a rather negative tone.” We even begin to filter out any positive stories because they no longer fit into our unconscious belief system. We get to a point where we only see negatives all around us and become totally

oblivious to the joys of life. We set up a hamster wheel of negativity. Worse yet, we share the stories on our own social media platforms, gossip about them to friends and family, spreading the virus of depression. Even writing this now, I feel my mind fog and my physical body getting heavy with the weight of negativity, just by writing about it!

“Ultimately, by taking some responsibility for creating a better life for yourself gives you the power. In reality, we control the trigger.” Imagine, just imagine, what if you decided to only read positive stories, only shared positive thoughts? Perhaps to the extreme of blocking or unfollowing people who tend to only post and share negativity. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying everything can be ‘love and light’ all the time. Where there is light there must be shadow, balance is the

key. To create that balance, choose to see, really see, the positives, not get hung up on the negatives. Create a better reality for yourself. External stimulus will always be there, as we have covered. It is indeed needed for human development. Will you let these dark tales trigger you, or will you take charge? Ultimately, by taking some responsibility for creating a better life for yourself gives you the power. In reality, we control the trigger. You are far more powerful than you imagine. Accept that, use that and step into and spread the light. ESPecially best wishes The Mentalist

The Story of Jim By Kate Fitz and Celeste de Vis Photo Credit: Kate Fitz

It’s time I shared with you the story of our boy Jim. Jim was owned by a family member, a man with severe diabetes and heart disease. This man lived for Jim; loved his dog with all his heart.

assured Jim would be looked after. The doctors called the RSPCA and the inspector promised him that he would be well cared for. At this point, the hospital stay would only be short-term.

“He pleaded with the inspector to bring Jim to visit him and she did. Jim visited his dad in hospital and again in palliative care.”

He also suffered dementia, which meant that he thought he was doing the right thing giving Jim lots of treats and yet, he was over feeding him - a lot. Killing him with kindness, one could say.

That’s not what happened though; sadly he lost a foot, and then the other, both from diabetes. He would now be in a wheelchair. A fiercely independent man and living in the bush, he would not be able to live the life he had loved. He pleaded with the inspector to bring Jim to visit him and she did. Jim visited his dad in hospital and again in palliative care.

As soon as I saw Jim, he ran to me knowingly. He knew I was there for him, and I knew he was coming home with me. Jim is the happiest, loveliest soul and he has lost a whopping 27kg! He has hips and a waist!

“He refused to get into the ambulance until he was assured Jim would be looked after.” Jim was 56kg at his heaviest, he couldn’t stand to eat his food and had sores on his body where he would chafe from his size. Jim’s dad went for a routine check up and didn’t realise how sick he was. He was very, very unwell and was immediately sent to hospital. His dementia had played a huge part in this and it breaks my heart to know he was so unwell and alone. He refused to get into the ambulance until he was

Jim has the most amazing soul I’ve ever known in an animal. Jim’s dad passed away and Jim remained at the RSPCA on his diet for six months in total. After hearing of this man’s passing, I knew my duty was to find his dog. I searched high and low across Tasmania until finally I found ‘Big Jim.’ I called Michelle (my supportive partner) and told her I was on my way to meet Jim and her response was, “We do whatever we need to do baby.”

Christmas Day gave us the greatest gift as Jim swam for the first time. He is getting so much stronger! He stands to eat and runs to the gate. Jim, we weren’t looking for another dog but we’ve definitely gained another family member. P.S. He is now known as ‘Slim Jim’. Do you have a story to share? February 2, 11 & number 42

Numerology By ShirleySienna

What can I say; numbers are set to change their vibe a little this year. 2021 will find us aiming for the higher meaning of the numeric grid and raising our vibration to match the new frequency that is jet-streaming in at a rate of knots!

‘February’, when spelt correctly maybe the second month of the twelve-month solar year as we currently know it. When we ‘spell it out’ in numbers, (please note the innuendo on ‘spell’), it vibes out at the number 42, which often indicates a significant and life changing moment! February also has a great multi -11 sequence of Magik. February’s alphabetic number value is F6 + E5 = (11), B2 + R9 = (11), U3 + A1 = (4), R9 + Y7 = (16/7). I hope you are keeping up with me, because on another run of that Jacob’s ladder, 4 + 7 also equals 11! 11, 11, 11, is 6, as is the sum of 42, so expect changes within the facets of relationships, and as 3 x 11 is 33, then you best not be the martyr, nor crucify another. Heart and Divine Mind must come into play this month. Be on your toes, quick on your feet and ready to understand that change is nigh.

Quote of the Month “We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.” - Albert Einstein Albert Einstein was born in Wurttemberg, Germany March 14, 1879 and passed to the world of spirit on April 18, 1955 at Princeton, New Jersey. Most people think of science and maths in regard to Albert and do not equate him as a man of spiritual and philosophical thought and lyric. His view and perspective was of an unlimited nature, which allowed him to solve problems, discover solutions and utilise not just his brain, but his ‘divine mind’, in order to grasp the bigger picture and from there, well, it’s all ‘relative’ really! Various projects received Government funding, enabling the development of programs encouraging young people back into mainstream education and working in prisons. Two programs that Jane’s wishes to see adopted within Australia. As well as groups, individuals benefitted from the healing modalities, counselling and teaching that was offered. Jane immigrated with her husband to Australia in 2007, opened The Purple Dragonfly in Warrandyte in 2014 and also launched The Oak Tree Organisation Australia, a not-for-profit dedicated to training and holistic programs for groups and individuals in both the corporate and noncorporate world.
