STUDENT SHOWCASE ON EXCELLENCE Seen Greek letters around campus? What do they mean? What goes on in their community? You may have seen our events throughout the semester.


“LOST? LET A GREEK HELP YOU� August 29th-30th, In front of the Minerva Statue The idea was that if a new student was lost on campus. Greek students could walk them to any class they had trouble finding. We had many faculty members stop by the table to tell us how much they loved the idea.


50 HOUR SEE-SAW September 23rd-25th, on the side of the Barrington student Union The Greek community took turns sitting on a see-saw for 50 straight hours. We raised $160 dollars for the Potsdam Humane Society through donations from parents, students, and faculty.


“SMASH YOUR STRESS AWAY” October 24th, at the Barrington Student Union. “Smash Your Stress Away” allowed students to buy tickets to either: -Smash a block of ice -Take a stab at water balloons -Destroy a fridge All to relieve mid-semester stress and raise money for a good cause! Our Greek community raised over $100 for the Potsdam Central School District.


ALL GREEK THANKSGIVING DINNER November 15th, at the Elks Lodge #2074 The entire Greek community came together and held a Thanksgiving dinner. Each house brought dishes to feed over 150 The Greek community donated all of the leftover to the Potsdam Food pantry!


THE 5 DAYS OF GIVING November 28th- December 2nd Featuring: -Candy Grams -Ornament decorating -Volleyball Tournament -Gift Drive All will be donated to the Potsdam Holiday Fund. We have an overall goal of a $2,500 donation!
