Head north 35 miles to Galena Summit, and stop at the pull-out to just try to absorb the stunning Sawtooth Mountains. Another 15 minutes and you come to Smiley Creek Lodge, where you can sign up for a guided snowmobile tour, or rent snowshoes and head out on your own private Idahoan adventure.

You've landed in Hailey at the Friedman Memorial Airport and begin to soak in the views of Baldy as you head into town. Check into your room at the brand new Limelight Hotel and get ready for dinner at the Pioneer Saloon. Ask Tom to make you a margarita. Bring your appetite, and make sure to wander through the restaurant and to take in the 100 years of history on the walls. Get a good night’s sleep and dream about tomorrow’s groomers.

Apres ski at Apples and tell stories over pitchers of Sawtooth beer. For dinner go to the Ram in Sun Valley, a classic spot with Hollywood history.
