Recognizing our team members’ hard work has always been important for us, but in 2018 we wanted to do something special for those who went way above and beyond to improve the customer’s experience (CE). Naming these team members as our CE Celebrities, each of the following (along with a guest) were invited to a two-night stay, full-course dinner and special presentation at our annual leadership conference in Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate their achievements. We are proud to share a few examples of why they are being honored: “On Christmas Eve, we were a little early and James (Captain, Cincinnati) went into the terminal and had all the children gather around as he read “The Night Before Christmas.” He thought outside of the box on how to interact with our customers and go the extra mile. He also handed out candy to the children as they exited the aircraft and made the flight enjoyable for many.” “We had a customer and her husband fly with us in July and the flight attendant found out it was their 59th wedding anniversary and took a picture of them on the plane. Later, the customer called in asking for the picture because her husband passed away and that was their last photo together. Brenda (Corporate Operator, Headquarters) took it upon herself to contact the appropriate department and locate the photo for the customer.” These are just a couple examples of our team members going above what is required of them to help our customers have a great customer experience. We are so excited to honor each of them for their dedication and passion to providing outstanding customer service.
