Send A Smile Mobile Application
The customer views a story on Twitter about a new app that McDonalds has created that encourages giving to other parts of the country.
The customer is viewing their newsfeed a few hours later and notices that their friend has signed up for the app and has given a McDonalds food item to someone in another country. The customer is intrigued, goes into the App store, and downloads the app.
The customer connects their Facebook and Twitter accounts to the app so that he doesn’t have to create a profile. All of his information is synced in so that the app is able to recognize his interests and location.
He browses users from other countries and selects one to give an item to based on shared interests. He will pick an item off the menu from the McDonalds in that country and send it to them.
