Whole Camu Camu Berry Extract is a 100% natural Camu Camu Berry fruit powder, made from wildcrafted Camu Camu. Our production process guarantees that no heat, radiation or any kind of additives is used. Camu Camu contains 30 to 50 times more Vitamin C than oranges, 10 times more iron, 3 times more Niacin and 2 times more Riboflavin (Vitamin B2). It contains important quantities of phosphor, potassium, calcium and zinc as well as bitter substances and essential oils like limonene and pinene. This list can easily be continued. No other citrus fruit has a similarly dense nutrient profile. It is therefore important to highlight that not only the Vitamin C content but to consume the “whole fruit” is important for its beneficial properties. The production process should therefore not be focused on the Vitamin C only but first of all should be as careful as possible. Another measurable detail which can be observed is the ORAC value which 61000 µmoleTE/100g for Camu Camu C++ and therefore offers great antioxidative capacity.
