HISTORIC TOUR
Fundado en 1957, el GCRM se construyó en la antigua Estación Aérea Naval de Richmond, la segunda mayor base de aeronaves de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en los Estados Unidos, el sitio era un lugar ideal para emplazar este mega muestra de trenes que se convirtió en uno de los tres museos oficiales del estado de Florida. Además de las locomotoras a vapor y diésel, se pueden ver diferentes artefactos, películas, materiales ferroviarios y vitrinas con trenes a escala. El museo permite a los huéspedes subirse a algunos de los trenes antiguos y también conocer la cabina de la locomotora, una manera de emprender un viaje imaginario al siglo pasado.

Founded in 1957, the GCRM was built on the site of the former Richmond Naval Air Station, the second largest World War II aircraft base in the United States. The site was an ideal location for this mega train exhibit, which became one of the three official museums of the state of Florida. In addition to the steam and diesel locomotives, you can see different artifacts, films, railway materials and model train showcases. The museum allows guests to get on some of the old trains and also get to know the locomotive's cabin, a way to take an imaginary journey into the past century.
