Tompkins Sr. of Suffolk was quick to respond and lucky to have his name drawn from a long list of those who guessed correctly in the Where Am I? contest for the January/February edition of Suffolk Living magazine. where am I? CMSgt. Tompkins I recognized the unit designator for the Virginia Army National Guard’s 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment Troop B, headquartered here in Suffolk. The photo is of the unit’s sign in front of the armory at 2761 Godwin Blvd. Tompkins will receive a $25 gift certificate to the advertiser of his choice for his correct answer.
