From Brandon we headed for Wymondham via Mundford-Swaffham and Attleborough where we had our second stop at the Motorcycle Clothing Centre. By this time we were all grateful to be able to get out of the heat of the sun for a while and the clothing shop gave us all a great excuse. Kitting up again and onto the Bomb Group Memorial Museum via a stop for provisions at Diss and onto our last stop. Anyone interested in World War II and aviation could do worse than visit the Museum, I had no idea it existed. The original runway could still be seen along with various buildings housing uniforms, weapons, photos and stories from serving air personnel. We even had a fly-over from a Harvard training plane although I had to be told what it was! Lazy summer days, having a chat with new and old friends and riding a bike, what a brilliant day, thanks Keith! Paul Spalding The SAM Observer May 2010
