another chap to rebuild it at a modest £350… So I was left with the auction sites. Never been a big fan of them as I have had my fingers burn before with people selling rubbish and advertising it as best ever. However my back was against the wall. There where numerous on line but the pictures looked just like mine, after a few day one popped up in Germany and it looks almost new, so I bought this one and it arrived a few days later. Last MOT I was advised that my rear shock absorber was worn so as I had the bike in bits I thought I better change this as well, found a good looking one in France, that winged its way over as well Mr Google is brilliant, one by one the dash board lights have been blowing, and yes you’ve got it… the bulbs are push in 12v 1.3w, never seen anything this small, with a quick search, Apparently used a lot in motorcycle dash boards, order a few, the blue headlight warning bulb I have always found far too bright so changed this as well to a 1.3w which is much better. So the issue with my radiator was that the front wheel pings up stone and sh..rubbish from the road so while the bike was in bits I built a fender extender. I have a few plastic guttering bits left over from a job I did, got the heat gun out and melted it into place. Lets see if this works. Only I have to find an excuse now to test it out…. Breakfast ride out… ☺ Safe Riding
