How to Sell Services and Make Money as a Coach
How do you sell services and make money as a coach? As they say, the money is in the list. But are you having problems getting people to join your email list? When you are first starting out online, it can be difficult to get new potential clients to join. Here are three ways to get prospective clients to join your list so they can eventually hire you and/or buy your products. The first method is to create a great squeeze page, the second method is to create a free training that solves a problem and the third method is to create your credibility autoresponder series. Create a Great Squeeze Page A squeeze page is a type of sales page that entices your potential clients to sign up for your email list. This is the best way to get them to sign up – creating a squeeze page that offers a gift – a great complimentary training that you give away in exchange for signing up to your list. The first element of a great squeeze page is a headline that captures a strong benefit of what you do for your clients. Secondly, have a bullet list of benefits that gives your readers a reason to sign up for your list. And, last but not least, write a strong call to action so they want to download your free training. Create Your Complimentary Gift The main task of your free gift is to solve a problem or problems that your clients usually have. For example, my clients have trouble enrolling clients. So I give my potential clients a free PDF that solves three of the most common problems they have while trying to enroll clients. This free training can be a PDF (8 to 12 pages works best), an MP3 training class, a short video training, a free teleseminar that you previously gave and recorded or some specific tools they can use. Give away your best information to your potential clients so they subscribe to your list. Create Your Credibility Autoresponder Series After you sign up for an autoresponder service (like Mail Chimp or aWeber), then it’s time to write a series of emails that will go out to your readers for the first 10 to 15 days. I like to send an email every day or every other day for those first 15 days. The purpose of these emails is to build up your credibility and authority. You can do this by being friendly, showing your true self
in your writing and giving good content in your emails.
