Welcome to the 24th Teesside University Students’ Union Annual Awards Dinner.

I am so happy to see so many of you here celebrating all the achievements we have had this year. Tonight is the night to remember all the fantastic things that have been achieved this year from Soc Fed tour to Amsterdam, AU Tour to Salou, not forgetting our amazing Varsity win over Sunderland and 2 very competitive AU V Soc Fed and of course not forgetting all the fantastic work that our SU reps have done this year representing students.

Tonight gives us the opportunity celebrate all the brilliant and outstanding work that is done by the students of Teesside. All these students who are involved in our clubs, societies, School Reps and volunteers are what makes both the Students’ Union and University. Without all these fantastic students we would not be the Teesside that we are.

It has been a privilege to be your Student Activities Officer this year and I will truly miss you all. I have made some incredible memories, friends and have had the opportunity to do so many new things. Thank you Teesside for the most amazing year... Now have a drink, enjoy yourself and let’s celebrate all your achievements
