In addition, she gained extensive courtroom experience by arguing hundreds of motions, and over 60 jury trials including Capital Sex Crimes. Ms. Synnamon left the State Attorney’s Office in June of 2013, and used her experience to pursue criminal defense work at the Law Office of Joe Castrofort, PLLC., located in the heart of downtown Orlando. Her passion for justice is what makes her excel in her practice to zealously advocate for her clients. She notes, “the criminal justice system can be very intimidating, so in addition to advocating for the rights of my clients, I counsel them throughout their cases, and help them understand that they are not alone in their fight.” Ms. Synnamon has served on the executive board for the Central Florida Domestic Violence Task Force, and is an active member of the National Trial Lawyers Association, The National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, as well as the Orange County Bar Association. In 2014, she was selected as one of “Orlando’s Legal Elite” by Orlando Style Magazine. In 2015 she has been honored as one of the “Nation’s Top One Percent” of attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel; chosen as one of the “10 Best Attorneys in Florida” by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys, and selected as one of “Florida’s 10 Best DUI/DWI Attorneys” by the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys. A few years after graduation, she decided to attend Florida A&M University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2009.
