about two point oh! In March 2010, Kelsi Smith of Los Angeles based fashion site, The Stylesmith Diaries, threw a pre-fashion week party for bloggers in Los Angeles. As a result of the success of the party and the relationships that were formed as a result, Smith decided that maintaining the unity and nurturing the community would be integral for the future of Los Angeles fashion and the blogging community at large. Smith felt blogging was often an isolating task, working alone with a computer the vast majority of the time with little in-person interaction with other bloggers. Whilst working events, such as fashion week, bloggers would often find themselves working as a “one man band,” without the entourage of photographers, videographers and so forth, that larger publications work with. Whilst blogging networks did exist, there was nothing to support Los Angeles bloggers on a local level where they could interact on a real-life, personal level. Through Two Point Oh! LA, Smith looked to educate, inform, promote and entertain her membership base, through a web-based platform and through monthly events, to include workshops, promotions and networked gatherings. Two Point Oh! LA officially launched in July 2010 with the 1st Annual Picnic with 45 members and now, in 2014, it is home to 150 bloggers in Los Angeles alone. Two Point Oh! LA produces signature events quarterly including the Annual Summer Picnic and the Annual Winter Snowball. We’ve partnered with countless brands to produce events, lookbooks, programming, and sponsored content with our network of bloggers. In January 2014 Two Point Oh! LA expanded to include networks of bloggers in other cities, launching Two Point Oh! PLUS with a national and international tour. Thus far Two Point Oh! has visited San Francisco, New Orleans and London. Each member, for an annual fee ($25) receives their own customizable profile on the site, invitations to the monthly events in their own cities, brand opportunities, unique experiences and the chance to make social networking really social. With Two Point Oh’s newest addition – brand membership – we also offer a unique platform for brands and bloggers to interact and find opportunities to work together in a collaborative space.

Brand Members receive exclusive access to our blogger profiles as well as exclusive opportunities and innovative ways to interact with our membership. Uniquely TPOH allows brands to connect with our community on a community level. The platform offers transparency for both brands and bloggers and a search functionality that will help you find your perfect match based on genre, location and availability. We don’t grade our bloggers by numbers and traffic, but provide you with the info you need to find a great brand partner. case study one // lulu*s at coachella In April 2013 we partnered with LuLu*s to send five bloggers to the desert for the Coachella weekend. The bloggers received hotel accommodation, a small stipend and wardrobe from LuLu*s as compensation. Whilst in the desert each blogger delivered instant content via Instagram and Twitter (with a minimum amount specified via contract) as well as daily blog posts and post event content. In addition the bloggers participated in two professional photo shoots, also featured on their blogs and used in marketing content for LuLu*s.

case study two // road to magic In August 2012 we took 30 fashion bloggers from Los Angeles through the desert to MAGIC MARKET WEEK in Las Vegas on a giant bus. The initial road trip portion of the activation was sponsored by Rue La La. The Road Trip featured a desert photoshoot and luncheon. In the subsequent portion of the activation, once the bloggers arrived in Las Vegas, they participated in on the floor panels at MAGIC MARKET WEEK, met with brands, covered the show and reported live from the floor.

case study three // In 2012 digital advertising platform, Unruly Media contracted us to augment the launch campaign of British e-commerce site, We used our $10 CPM model with an $150 dollar cap per post to acquire 120 sponsored posts and contest entries from our membership and extended network in under two weeks. We succeeded in acquiring posts and contest entries as well as pursued influencer gifting and Twitter posts following the initial campaign on behalf of Unruly and remained under budget.
