If you’re like us and have missed New Farm’s favourite traditional delicatessen following the devastation of a fire last month, join us in the excitement to welcome them back to the heartbeat of New Farm. With the support from the Merthyr Village community, the New Farm go-to will be back, better than ever flaunting its humble, European charm with a pop-up boutique until the store is ready to re-open in mid November. treats and take home meals, the dearly missed delicacies will be available again from early August at Merthyr Village. Plus, a coffee cart stationed near the Post Office, ideal for a morning brew on the go. Although owners Vince and Maria have been devastated by the tragedy, it’s a gentle reminder of how easily these things can happen, but most importantly, a reminder of how close-knit and supportive the Brisbane community can be.
