During these 15 years of A.I.A.F: management, there are several award winners worth to remember, such as Mario Martone, Nicole Romine, Liu Zchenche, actresses Ottavia Piccolo and Golshifteh Farahani, who received the Eleonora Duse Award. Despite the many obstacles, Attilio was never discouraged, and in 2015 he decided to continue the experience of Asolo Art Film Festival with a new non-profit organization, ALA - Armonioso Labirinto Asolano, to which he donated all of A.I.A.F. cultural and material heritage, declaring it the natural successor of A.I.A.F. in the vocation of fostering the dialogue among cultures and the promotion of art and cinema.
Remembering Attilio means also remembering his kind smile, the encouraging words he had for everyone, his impetuous passion and his love for people, for dialogue, for conviviality, beyond any linguistic, cultural and educational barrier. It means remembering what he taught us about tolerance and how much we can learn from other cultures. It’s a song, a poem or a dinner together. For all those who met him, it’s a whisper in the heart.
This is why in this edition of Asolo Art Film Festival, completely dedicated to him, we decided to have an official “Tribute to Attilio Zamperoni”, in which anyone can share a thought, a feeling, a memory, remembering his beautiful Soul, which shines its light upon the festival.
