Studio R HE Proﬁle Richard Hywel Evans BA Hons. A A Diploma, R IBA M CSD studied at the Architectural Associa<on, London from which he Graduated with Honours in 1986. He le@ the U K to work with the leading Architects of Australia including R AIA Gold Medal winners Philip Cox and Daryl Jackson. During his <me there he was closely involved in the design of the Sydney Aquarium, the Sydney Aqua<cs Centre, The Bond University and a new high proﬁle headquarters in Darling Harbour. Returning to London via the U SA, he spent a two year period with Richard Horden as part of the Team which won the Grand Buildings Compe<<on and the Epsom Q E2 Grandstand, following which he became the co-‐founder and sole European Director of ‘DJI Ltd.’ running projects throughout Europe un<l establishing ‘Studio R HE’ in 1997. Since this <me has enjoyed a high level of success with Interna<onal Design Compe<<ons and has achieved Prize winning schemes and Awards (list enclosed). He has wriden and featured in numerous interna<onal magazines and newspapers including ‘ The Times’, ‘ The Guardian’, ‘ The Financial Times’ and ‘ The Independent’. He has also appeared widely in television programmes, including most notably: B BC ‘Happy Architecture’, Channel 5 ‘Buildings of the Future’, and C NN ‘Future Buildings’.
