Conflicts don’t always resolve themselves. Sometimes people need outside help. Kristine Paranica, the Executive Director for the UND Conflict Resolution Center has 11 years of experience in developing conflict solutions. She explains how the Conflict Resolution Center at the University of North Dakota provides transformative mediation services. Transformative mediation focuses on fixing the core issue of a conflict. She says this approach leads to long term solutions. Watch Studio One for Paranica’s tips on how everyone can manage conflict in their lives. Also on the show, some people say that Halloween is the only day to get dressed up, but one group of people says there are at least two. “Zombie Fest” is all about spending a day in the life of the risen dead. Participants act out the life of a zombie of their choice. Tune into Studio One this week to see “dead” brides, farmers and crazy ex-wives in action at what some call a killer festival. Studio One is an award-winning news and information program produced at the University of North Dakota Television Center.
