Life and Death Life is  for  the  living.  We  only  get  one  life  or  so  I’ve  been  told.  One  life  to  live,  one  live  to  enjoy,  one  life  to   experience.  One  life  we’re  supposed  to  live  to  our  fullest  so  that  when  we  lie  on  our  deathbeds  we  have  no   regrets.  Well  I  can  honestly  say  I  will  never  regret  that  experience.  This  is  going  to  sound  incredibly  corny   but  I  learned  a  lot.  there  are  far  too  many  reasons  I  enjoyed  this  exchanged  to  write  down  but  in  a  nutshell   this  has  been  an  absolute  pleasure  because: A:  Vienna  is  a  beau=ful  city.   B:  You  people  are  shy.   C:  You  know  that  feeling  when  you  step  outside  on  a  warm  day  the  cool  breeze  blows  through  your  hair   and  you  feel  like  you  can  let  everything  go  forget  all  your  troubles?  That’s  what  this  week  was  like  for  me.  So  if  nothing  else  what  I  am  gecng  from  this  are  memories  that   would  s=ll  make  me  laugh  when  I’m  old  and  grey.  Sure  some  things  could’ve  gone  beUer  but  when  it  comes   down  to  it  i  wouldn’t  change  a  thing.  Life  is  for  the  living  my  dear.  We’ll  worry  about  the  rest  when  we  are   dead. Ginger  child  (Polona)

Experiences For me,  student  exchanges  are  a  very  important  part  of  school  educa=on.  I  think  from  the  exchanges  I  had,   I  got  a  lot  of  posi=ve  experiences  I  never  would  have  from  just  going  to  school  like  usually.  With  having   exchanges  I  met  a  lot  of  different  people  and  made  a  lot  of  new  friends  from  different  countries.  It  was   especially  interes=ng  and  exci=ng  for  me  to  be  a  part  of  their  everyday  life.  For  a  few  days  I  could  really  feel   how  living  in  other  places  is  different  and  some  ways  similar  to  my  life.  Life  in  bigger  ci=es,  in  other   countries,  in  other  con=nents  and  life  not  so  far  away  from  home.  I’ve  seen  a  lot  of  different  cultures  and   experienced  them  way  beUer  than  I  would,  if  I  was  only  learning  about  them.  Beside  that  I’ve  also  been  in   many  ci=es  around  the  world  seeing  their  sights  and  learning  about  them.  I’ve  seen  how  students  educate   at  school  and  how  they  have  fun  in  their  free  =me.  It  was  fun  and  interes=ng  and  I’ve  seen  it  all  on  my  own,   I  have  been  there.  It  was  great  and  I  would  definitely  do  it  again. Lady  in  red  (neza)

Super Exchanges are  super,  just  like  me  and  if  you  make  an  exchange  your  life  gets  even  more  super  too,  because   some  of  my  superness  is  in  every  exchange.  You’ll  probably  say:  „nah  exchanges  can’t  even  be  THAT  super“,   but  what  if  I  told  you,  I  was  superman?  Would  you  s=ll  say  exchanges  aren’t  ultra  super,  if  superman  likes   exchanges?  I  don’t  think  so  and  that  why  superman  tells  you  now:”  I  want  YOU  for  student  exchange”.  Even   I,  superman,  took  some  great  experiences  with  me  I  never  had  before  and  even  though  I  can’t  really  die,   there  wouldn’t  have  been  other  possibili=es  to  make  these  experiences.  Just  do  it,  just  be  happy  and  just   be  super.

Article: Questionaire In our  group  we  wanted  to  compare  slovenian  and  austrian  teenagers.  Therefore  we  asked  people   some  ques=ons  and  we  will  summarize  our  result  in  this  ar=cle. Firstly  we  compared  music.  Music  is  important  for  both  of  the  countries.  There  are  many  kinds  of   na=onal  music  in  Austria  but  most  of  the  teenagers  listen  to  the  charts  and  interna=onal  music.  In   Slovenia  they  don’t  listen  to  na=onal  music  much  either  and  they  don’t  have  as  much  as  in  Austria.   Interna=onal  music  is  what  they  like  too. Secondly  we  compared  how  important  par=es  and  alcohol  are  for  them.  It’s  very  similar  in  both   countries.  Teenagers  both  like  to  party  but  alcohol  is  not  that  important  for  them. Another  aspect  is  sport.  Both  na=ons  find  sport  ac=vi=es  important  but  they  also  play  a  lot  of   video  games  in  their  free  =me.  They  do  that  every  day.In  both  countries  the  society  has  different   kinds  of  interests.   In  Austria  educa=on  is  very  important,  while  in  Slovenia  it  is  not  as  much  important  for  the   teenagers  as  in  Austria. Family  and  rela=onships  with  friends  are  very  important  in  all  na=ons.  For  both  countries  family   means  a  lot,  but  austrian  parents  are  much  stricter  than  slovenian.   While  Austrians  are  afraid  of  being  unemployed,  want  to  have  a  family  and  other  things,  the   ques=oned  Slovenians  don’t  think  that  far  ahead  into  the  future. There  aren’t  many  differences  between  teenagers  in  Austria  and  Slovenia.  In  fact  we  are  similar  to   each  other.  J

Interview Our task  was  to  interview  some  students,  ci=zans  and  schoolstaff  about  the  students  exchange,  to   get  their  opinions  and  another  point  of  view. First  group  –  School  staff   1. What  kind  of  effect  does  this  exchange  have  on  your  work? Teacher  1:  It  has  an  effect  obviously  because  I  can´t  teach  in  classes  in  that  week,  but  I  really  like  it ´s  benefits. 2. Which  benefits  does  an  exchange  have  in  your  opinion? Teacher  1:  It  opens  people´s  minds,  you  get  to  know  a  lot  of  different  people  and  a  different   culture. Second  group  –  Students

1. Have you  heard  about  students  exchange  before? Student  :  Yeah  and  I  think  it´s  a  good  experience  and  also  I  think  we  should  do  this  more  oRen. 2. What  do  you  think  we  do  on  an  exchange? Student  :  Get  to  know  the  city  and  a  new  lifestyle  and  talk  to  people. 3. Do  you  think  it  has  benefits? Student  :  Well  it  should  have!  Otherwise  it  would  be  useless,  huh?   Third  group  –  Exchange  students 1. What  do  you  think  about  this  exchange? Student  :  I  like  it.  I  think  it´s  good  to  see  how  other  people  live  and  you  can  see  different   countries. 2. Do  you  think  it  has  it´s  benefits? Student:  Yeah,  it´s  good  for  studying  English,  gecng  to  know  the  language  beUer. Our  conclusions  are  that  all  people  think  it´s  good  to  go  on  a  students  exchange,  to  get  to   know  other  people,  countries  and  make  new  friends  or  just  to  improve  our  language  skills.  No   maUer  who  we  asked,  nobody  had  anything  nega=ve  to  say  about  it  and  they  highly   recommend  it.
