Design + Computing operates as both a title and agenda for the second Stuckeman Center for Design Computing Flash Symposium and Open House. What this agenda asks is 'how do designers use computational tools and methods shape our environments?' As hosts to this symposium, we engage this question across the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture and graphic design which are the disciplines that co-exist and cross-pollinate in the Stuckeman School. Lecturers:
Skylar Tibbits, the Self Assembly Lab at M.I.T., Justin Holzman, Assistant Professor in the Landscape Architecture Program at the John H. Daniels School of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto.
Zachary Kaiser, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Experience Architecture in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at Michigan State University.
