“...have phone; make pictures” Photography’s power to heighten or enhance reminiscing is well known. Digital photography has democratised the process as only George Eastman could have dreamt. But what digital has done for democratising the process, Mobile Phone cameras, have, amplified that idea 10 fold. What happens then, when as you go about your daily business, you stop occasionally to make a picture, perhaps to remember, remind, or relocate. What happens after doing this almost daily for 4 years? This is the question, I am attempting to address, with this book, some highlights, lowlights and every thing in between, from 2006–2010. This edited selection of the 7,474 images made using two Phone cameras, does little to remind me of where I was or why I made the images. What has happened is I’ve been able to reflect back, and see some patterns emerge. I’ve also been able to tie many loose ends. Most importantly though, I’ve pieced together, a narrative, a journey, and condensed 4 years into a 200 page book. Like all picture books, there is no, conclusive beginning or end, just a rambling good time to be had by any who choose to spend some time with the book.
