PERSONNEL NEWS Strictly Business Editor Hannah Hundley Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary Strictly Business editor, Hannah Hundley, is celebrating her one-year anniversary with the magazine. Hannah was brought on in February of 2018 as the executive assistant. Shortly after, Hannah stepped up into the editor role. She currently oversees all of the written content for the Omaha and Lincoln publications, which consists of press releases, monthly columns, client spotlights, River/Star City Six features, featured stories, and more. In addition, Hannah has recently begun to assist with sales efforts in the Omaha market. She is excited to form more connections with local professionals by scheduling meetings and being active in local organizations, such as Center Sphere, Greater Omaha Chamber, Sapry County Chamber, and the Millard Business Association. Cornhusker Bank Promotes Matthew Biggs, Matthew Brase, and Nicholas Schaffer Cornhusker Bank is excited to announce the promotions of Matthew Biggs to vice president/ relationship manager, Matthew Brase to vice president/financial operations officer, and Nicholas Schaffer to vice president/operations officer. Matt Biggs’ duties as a commercial relationship manager include development of new commercial business, the growth and expansion of existing business relationships, and ongoing service of customers. Matt has broad knowledge of commercial loan policies and procedures and the ability to provide financial consultation to customers to help them develop roadmaps to arrive at their goals. Matt Brase supports bank management and all departments with his extensive abilities in statistical analysis, identifying trends, solving issues, and developing forecasts in different areas of the bank. Matt completes required regulatory reports and supports the entire Financial Operations team, ensuring the accuracy of bank financial data. Nick Schaffer manages the Operations Center team and all tasks they complete in accordance with bank policies and applicable laws. His department is responsible for providing backroom technical support for the bank’s retail division in the areas of customer and account management, electronic funds transfer, and item processing. Nick’s detail oriented expertise and high level of confidentiality assure customer information and service are provided at the highest levels.
Maggie Weber Joins the Amplify Arts Team Amplify Arts is excited to welcome Maggie Weber to the position of development director. Weber has previously held positions at Benson Theatre and most recently at Montessori CoOp School. She brings a wealth of community organizing and development experience to the role. Weber is an artist herself, with a strong passion for supporting the local arts community. Weber is a muralist and community organizer. As a child, she attended summer art camp in her hometown Shenandoah, IA, along the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, which cultivated her love for art in the outdoors. She owns a small business, Magdalena Murals, and has created public art installations for the past 10 years. Weber is invested in the next generation of creatives and has collaborated with local organizations such as Project Everlast, The Kent Bellows Mentoring Program, and The Montessori Co-Op School to empower young people to pursue their passions. She received her B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2014. Weber is a Benson enthusiast and currently serves as vice president of the Benson Neighborhood Association and public art director for Benson First Friday.
