Where fast removal is important, corn starch paint can be a great material for quickly adding a colorful base to a public space project. If you’d like your project to last longer, acrylic asphalt paint may be the material for you. Left: Poughkeepsie, NY Market Street Connect demonstration project (Street Plans). Right: Curb extension mural at the New York City Tenement Museum (Street Plans).

For pilot or interim-design projects, epoxy gravel can be an effective and attractive way to differentiate pedestrian space from vehicular space, as shown at the Fulton Landing pedestrian plaza, Brooklyn, NY (Street Plans).

F Demo (1 day - 1 month) Pilot (1 month - 1 year)

Interim (1 - 5 years)
