Road construction in the north

Road construction will take place on Township Road 554 from Range Road 214 to approximately 500 metres west (includes intersection upgrades on Range Road 214). This work will be completed before the end of July, weather permitting. Expect disruptions and proceed with caution. Try disc golf in the wilderness

Disc golf is a new activity available at the Strathcona Wilderness Centre. Similar to regular golf, players use a disc and aim for target baskets. Savour Strathcona County: Spotlight on Herbs

Savour gourmet dishes made with fresh ingredients by chefs from County restaurants. “Taste tickets” are available five for $5 – in advance by calling 780-464-8095, and also onsite. Art in the Plaza on Sundays this summer It’s a destination every Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Centre in Sherwood Park. Take a shuttle to special events Edmonton Indy, July 20 to 22. Shuttle is $8 return or $5 one-way cash fare. Advance tickets will be available from the Sherwood Park Transit Centre in early July.
