Strathcona County is developing a growth management strategy for a new urban community called Bremner, an area northeast of Sherwood Park, to consider how the area should be developed and guide future planning. The County’s newest—Fire Station 6—is now in operation and responding to emergency calls from 915 Bison Way in Sherwood Park (next to the RCMP detachment). Construction continues in preparation for administration to move into the new building this summer. Pride of Strathcona Award presentations
Most often we think water restrictions occur in the summer during long periods of hot, dry weather. But did you know water restrictions can happen any time and can be planned or unplanned? Thirteen individuals and four groups comprise the recipients who will be recognized at this year’s Pride of Strathcona Awards ceremony.
