MUSIC ORGANIST LORETO ARAMENDI TO PERFORM This Sunday, May 12, we welcome Spanish organist Loreto Aramendi as our 3:15 p.m. recitalist. Having studied in Spain and France — including the Paris Conservatoire — Ms. Aramendi has performed all over the world. A prizewinner in multiple organ competitions, she currently serves as professor at the Conservatoire in San Sebastian and primary organist of the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Basilique of Santa María del Coro. Her program will include works by Buxtehude and Ligeti, as well as transcriptions of works by Saint-Saëns, Liszt, and Rachmaninov. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this marvelously talented international organist. Loreto Aramendi, organ (Spain) Dietrich Buxtehude, Toccata, BuxWV 156 Franz Liszt, Funérailles (transc.
