HOW CAN WE HELP!

F A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE G Like the disciples in today’s gospel, there are times we shut the doors of our hearts to people or events. It’s how we create emotional distance. Permanent distancing is lethal and prevents the PEACE Jesus offers you today.

We welcome you to inform the Rectory Office when a parishioner is hospitalized, homebound or in a nursing home in order that our Pastoral Staff or Eucharistic Ministers schedule a visit and bring Communion. Please let us know how we may help in any way by calling 860-561-4235, opt 3 or via email st.peterclaver@sbcglobal.net.

YOU’RE INVITED!! Our St. Peter Claver Youth Group would like to invite all teens to their end of year celebration scheduled for June 14th. Teens in Grades 7-11 are invited to attend the 4:30 Mass together followed by pizza and ice cream in the Parish Hall until 8:00 pm. You are welcome to attend all or part of this evening. SPECIAL INVITE TO 7TH GRADERS Please join us for a peek of what St. Peter Claver Youth Group is all about. Come and check it out, bring a friend. This is a great opportunity to hang out with

fellow teens from our parish. Mark your calendars!

We wish to say “Thank You” to all of our Catechists for sharing their Gift of Faith with the Children of St. Peter Claver Church! We Invite Our Catechists And Their Families To Join Us Sunday, June 22nd At The 8:30 am Mass Followed By A Continental Breakfast In The Parish Hall “On the lips of the Catechist the first proclamation must ring out over and over ~ Jesus Christ loves you; He gave His life to save you; and now He is living at your side everyday to enlighten, strengthen and free you.” ~ Pope Francis (Evangelii Gaudium, 164) Catechists have the privilege to share these Truths with their Students. How blessed we are to have their devotion to God, their dedication to their Parish and their desire to tell others how much Jesus loves them!

Thank You Catechists!
