Led by Carl & Kim Butz 5pm: Women’s Sunday Night Bible Study Entrusted: A Study of 2 Timothy Begins January 14 (Library) In this book by Beth Moore, it’s discussed how we were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. In this 6session Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you and further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, because in this life journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness.
TUESDAY 6:30pm: Men’s Bible Study “Mere Christianity,” by C.S. Lewis Begins January 9 (Library) Pastor Anderson will lead the Bible study on this book. Come read and discuss this work on Tuesday nights, so that you may be strengthened and equipped to defend your faith and so that you may have confidence in the hope that is in Christ Jesus! In Mere Christianity, Lewis provides a powerful, rational case for the Christian faith. At a time when Christians are increasingly ridiculed for their 'outdated' faith, Lewis demonstrates that our faith is more than defensible in the age of science and reason.
THURSDAY 6:30am: Men’s Morning Bible Study 2 Peter Resumes January 4 (Church Conference Room) Peter writes to Christians who are part of the Community of Faith in churches he and others started in Asia Minor. His aim is to give them direction for leading lives that will be tested because their neighbors scoff at their commitment to and beliefs about Jesus. 9:30am: Adult Bible Study with Pastor Wohlers Topics vary.
