Message from Michael After twenty five years I needed to step away from bronze production. However as most people in the art world understand, artists don’t usually do what they do for ‘fun’, they do it because they have to. It’s in them and it needs to get out. Time to get back to work. This time round the whole concept will revolve around doing originals only. This means a fairly exclusive supply chain for the relatively few pieces that will become available. I always figure a way to keep the costs for bronze production under ‘control’ so expect some very favourable prices ahead. Looking forward to working with everyone again.
The ‘minimal’ concept. I like leaving as much to the imagination as possible. As with books compared to films, the reader can fill in the gaps in any way they like. Capturing an everyday moment in a way that comes alive through the perceived anticipatory movement is backstop of most of the work.
