FROM THE DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPALS Our apologies this week for the relatively short issue of The Tiger. Helen Sharrock, Alan Connah and I are all in London attending the biggest international school job fair of the year. In some ways January is the busiest time of the year for international school administrators as we compete to attract the best teachers for our schools. Each year it becomes more competitive and this year is no exception.

SMS Test As was advised a week ago, we tested the new SMS messaging system on Monday. Several parents contacted the school asking for numbers to be added or deleted and these changes have been made. But our system will only be as effective as the information we are given by you – the parents – so do please ensure that the school is informed immediately if you change, add or lose your phone number(s). Thank you.

I am pleased to report that we have already made eight strong appointments (in Melbourne and Bangkok) and I am hopeful that we will continue this good run here in London. We are all back at school in the middle of next week.

Coordinator and teachers. The completed forms are due in March. In the meantime M5 students have been encouraged to be proactive and to start investigating their options for next year. Students who are leaving are still advised to go through the process since they will need some information to take to their next school too. Anyone with queries or concerns can contact the IB Coordinator Ms. de Smidt:
