JIM BIERI • 1970 started as a Retailer - Opening Christmas Kiosks throughout the country - Demonstrated the concept of a kiosk to the Mall Community

JIM STOKAS • Joined the Retail Real Estate industry over 30 years ago in Los Angeles, CA with Coldwell Banker • 1990 Transferred to Michigan to head up CB Richard Ellis as Senior Vice President of Retail Sales in Southfield • Joined Trammel Crow in 1999

• Formation of Stokas Realty Advisors and the X-Team in 2001 • Member of Michigan ICSC Program Board for 13 years • Responsible for successful launches in Michigan: --IKEA --Staples (9 store simultaneous opening) --Home Quarters (4 simultaneous market openings) • •Competing with Builders Square and Home Depot • •HQ Real Estate success even in failure (8 of the 10 sites were sold to Costco in bankruptcy)

ALEX BIERI •

Alex Bieri joined Stokas Bieri in September 2004 as a Leasing Agent. He has aided JoS A Bank, Yankee Candle, SVS Vision, Art Van Furniture, Title Boxing Club, True Value Hardware, Zoup!, Great Gatherings and many other local and national retailers with their site selection needs. He has also been a leasing representative for many Detroit area projects including Gateway Marketplace, GM Renaissance Center, Kercheval Place and Romeo Commons. • Mr. Bieri graduated from Purdue University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in industrial management. Upon graduation from Purdue, Mr. Bieri worked at RR Donnelley for four years in Chicago and Boston. While at RR Donnelley, he worked directly with over 200 catalog/retail RR Donnelley customers. • Mr. Bieri is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Michigan. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC) and currently serves as the ICSC Next Generation Michigan Chairman. He is also a member of the Detroit Athletic Club, and is actively involved in and supports many Detroit Synergy events. • He enjoys running, golf and handball. He is married to Allison and they have two children, Benjamin and Grace.

STAN AMES 

Mr. Ames began his career as an attorney at the law firm of Schwartz, Kelm, Warren & Rubenstein in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked primarily in the real estate division, concentrating on commercial leasing and general business law. During his time there, he negotiated leases for The Limited, Inc., The Art Works, Art Explosion, Cheryl’s Cookies, Roger’s Jewelers and The Steak Escape, as well as other regional retailers.

In 1992, Mr. Ames joined Escape Enterprises, Inc. which is the franchisor company for The Steak Escape restaurant chain. Mr. Ames served as General Counsel and Director of Franchise Sales. During his tenure here, the franchise system grew to over 160 stores in the United States and had master franchise arrangements in Japan and Singapore.

Mr. Ames joined Bieri & Ames in 1994. He negotiates retail leases for a number of national and regional retailers and landlords. His clients include Coach, Ann Taylor, Loft, Tumi, Yankee Candle, Marmot, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, The Body Shop, Mountain Warehouse, and others.

Tracy Gogola 

Tracy Gogola joined Stokas Bieri in March 2001, applying her knowledge of business management and commercial real estate to her role as office manager, where her current responsibilities include managing the daily activities of the office and assisting with various landlord initiatives.

While working at Stokas Bieri, she earned an associate's degree in business management from Macomb Community College in 2000. Mrs. Gogola has a great understanding of the intricate workings of the business.

Prior to joining Stokas Bieri, Mrs. Gogola held the position of collections specialist in the finance department of Stahls Inc. for more than five years.

Mrs. Gogola is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Michigan. She is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mac MacDermaid 

Mac joined the Stokas Bieri team in early 2015 as the marketing assistant. She received a BS from Western Michigan University and an M.Ed. from Winthrop University. Mac holds an active real estate license in Michigan and has worked in the residential real estate field since 2011. She assists the team in site selection, creating videos & flyers, and website & social media management. As a professional photographer she’s able to truly showcase our properties.

Ms. MacDermaid is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

In her free time, Mac enjoys getting involved in her community. She is a board member of the Redford Township Historical Commission and also volunteers with the Redford Cemetery Association & Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
